Were you able to get the Crossfire comic published by Antarctic Press in 1994? It's quite difficult to find.

This is actually the flipside of this book:

Since I don't have any DNAgents, but have the whole set of Crossfire, I have this book, bagged with the Crossfire side out front. However, the indicia I believe reads "DNAgents Super Special", so I guess that's the actual name of the comic.

As usual, I misquoted (I wasnt feeling well yesterday)... THANKS Bro J. You are my compass.

I'd seen the same thing on milehighcomics.com. GOOD thing to know about the flipside being the Crossfire cover of the DNAgents special. Now I know how to get this extremley difficult hard to find book.

Looks like Antarctic Press got hold of a few IPs (or borrowed them) for the purpose of making a fair number of TPBs.

I love the new covers I've seen for DNAgents. Hell, I just may start DNAgents instead of Dreadstar here soon.

I picked all of these up about 20 minutes ago.

Pretty good ?

Image

ALL of the books/ashcans above are in CHERRY condition !!!

The Ultraverse holos (Prototype, Hardcase, Mantra x 2 and Freex) are the silver holos (it is the angle of the camera) and I have NEVER seen the Platinum Perg books by Lightening Comics before. Nor have I even heard of the Madman GOLD ashcan !!! And wait a minute... is that a
the Birth of the Defiant Universe comic in the middle of the mix ? hehehe The Platinum Predator vs Magnus is a nice pick up and was totally pleased by the editions of 'WHACKED', I even left a couple there.

I picked up all of these tonight in one deal. The LCS owner also had a Venom: Lethal Protector BLACK and a Venom: Lethal Protector Gold. Which I had in my hand but he said he was going to CGC those... but it was totally cool as I had NEVER seen a Venom Lethal Protector BLACK error book in person. Also the Mantra #1 is signed by writer Matt W. Barr and 'visual image creator' Adam Hughes. The comics has a 1993 'Limited Treasured Editions - a division of Lee Tennant Enterprises' black COA and is sealed with a mirror shiny 'LIMITED TREASURED EDITIONS SEAL OF AUTHENTICITY TAMPER PROOF - DO NOT REMOVE' sticker sealing the bag.

But what a great day, all of us at work were ORDERED out of the office by the Commanding General, very early in the afternoon (eh 2 pm ?). So, seeing as now I had 'time', I took the whole family to see Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen (OMG GREAT MOVIE). Gonna be playing the 360 game here in a bit (free movie ticket out of that as well and I even conned the guy at the register one of the red 'Minions' figures that were a pre-order with Overlord 2 (which I didn't pre-order because I have not finished the first one YET).

Then went to the LCS to get new bags and boards (because I got in a GREAT box of books from J-Scott-R... wow oh wow, really nice books man, thank you SO MUCH... more on that later) and when I walked in the LCS owner said, "Hey Chris, I have some books that I picked up and saved them for you to check out first." And there are more Valiant sets which he has saved for me. Bout TIME this guy squared me away AND we had a VERY nice sociable, two guys who love comic books talk. I think he was happy that he could help me out.

I was amazed at the condition of ALL the comics... but not as amazed as for what I paid for all of these. Sorry that the pics are kind of fuzzy but I took these after the sun went down and my camera had the aperture open just a bit too long which made them fuzzy because it had to stay open a bit longer/hand shake. I will replace the photos later during the day so that they will be clearer.

Lord... THANK YOU for the great day with my family and everything that was brought with it.

sounds like a fun day, congratulations! :thumb:

Are the Harby #1 and #2 in good shape with the coupons? They look to be the biggest steal in the lot to me other than the Birth of the Defiant U. book.

The Ultraverse holos (Prototype, Hardcase, Mantra x 2 and Freex) are the silver holos
Mantra x 2 = equals two copies

CHERRY condition = with coupons

No coupons, no cherry

I have described the book(s) using a colloquialism.
Dictionary of Automotive Terms
A colloquial term for a vehicle that has been kept in, or restored to, perfect condition. Also called "mint condition."

Yep, got that for $1.00 USD.

I thought it was a pretty good deal, and even the LCS owner TOLD me that 'this book here (BotDU), this is a nothing book, so $1.00'.

Can't go wrong with that... the LCS owner told me so and they know everything.

I cnnot believe that.
Friggin amazing.

My best deal today, was a Buzz lightyear actionfigure of £0.20. Batteries still working. Paid double the asking price as I had no change.
