Sweet slab, for sure.

This is more than difficult enough to find as just a raw copy, but exceptionally tough to find in this grade.

This is actually a re-list; he originally had his BuyItNow at $400. Although it's more than I'd personally be willing to pay, it was actually still a fairly decent price at that amount, given it's rarity.

Just my .02,

Poof. That listing is gone double gone.

There's a guy in the Boston area who has 5 9.8s. I saw them. I had a standing offer with him for $300 on one, but he has always wanted more. I was hoping this would stay up so I could show it to him! :)

This set of Valiant cards and postcards is IMMENSE!

I'm watching, but I don't think I'll bid. It only has three or four items I need in my collection.

Winning this auction, though, would leave the winner with only three to four items missing.

Funny that it doesn't have a full set of Unity cards.

I don't wanna say this is SUPER-rare, but the price IS still SUPER-reasonable. $2 for Secret Weapons VVSS? $5 ship.

Not too shabby.

From that same seller:

http://cgi.ebay.com/PSI-LORDS-1-signed- ... 814wt_1270

This looks like an incomplete Psi-Lords VVSS to me. It was signed by Bedard and Leeke in the exact same manner as the VVSS, but is missing Dick Giordano's signature and doesn't have a COA. I'm not saying that it should sell for anything close to a real Psi-Lords VVSS, but it is interesting.

He's asking a lot for it. This one went for only $12 recently.

Well, I guess it was proabaly cover price at some point. :P

$75 was too high today apparently - ended with no bidders.

Still on my radar for the car boot sale season :)

Anything around a £1 sounds about right.

Destroyer 0 and Visitor vs Valiant Universe price variants (based on the response I got when I asked specifically about those 2 issues). Of course, after I asked him he looked them up and sees them going for $35 each on eBay, but says he'll let me have the 2 for less than that. I only really needed the Destroyer issue, and was going to put the Visitor one up here for someone that might need it, but now that he's onto me I'm not sure how to procede. But I see he still hasn't changed his description or removed those issues. I just don't think $30 shipped for a Destroyer 0 PV in F+ condition is worth it to me, but maybe someone here needs them both or the other books included.

Nice book for sure, though not sure if the seller is from here or over at VCS, but they sure didnt care for Valiant much, calling the dust over 'ugly' and referring to Unity as the' last big effort by Valiant before they went under in the 90's'

Best off in someone elses hands in that case.

I have a copy of this book and it is infinitely awesome! It is a shame that the seller insulted Steve Topper's excellent work on the dust jacket. Get it before the Valiant relaunch 'cause once that happens the price on this will most likely skyrocket. It very well might end up being the rarest Valiant collectible of all.

I once e-mailed a guy to double check that the Visitor vs. Valiant Universe issues were the price variants. He said the cover price was $2.50. It turned out to be the Visitor issues that were $2.50 and the V vs. VU was $2.95. The whole set wasn't worth the shipping cost.
