Great pick ups.

I am still looking for the steel Nation TPB. (I've just about given up on finding the Mag v. Pred)

Their is only one graded 9.8!
This maybe my first cgc submission.

I am sure if I sell it raw, I will only get half of a 9.8 (if it is actually that)

If it comes in at 9.6 I will pobably get the same as raw. :hm:

Postaget their and back then selling fees ~ probably sell it raw.

Pointless post ~ I just talkied myself ot of it.

Hell to the YES... I wouldnt let em go by either. I recently got on a huge Cyberforce ashcan hunt. I still think that I don't have them all. :thumb:

Good purchase...

I got a weird 'set'... I bought the yellow ashcan (don't know the #) and it was signed and numbered. The guy also sent me an unsigned one.

And then I think a few days later, not knowing what I had I purchased the same ashcan from a board member. Hard to keep track of all the colored ashcans out there from Image.

What is the rarest ashcan anybody has ? I think I have one to dig up.

Thanks for that reminder, Elveen... now ya got me all melancholy and wanting to go give Alyssa a hug. :thumb:

I never knew that there was a TPB for DNAgents from Eclipse, so when I found it on Ebay, I snatched it up. I didnt expect it to be smaller when I got it:

Image

Aaaaand it is in black and white:

The copyrights for this are 1983 but the print date is 2004 under the publisher 'About Comics'. It's actually pretty cool. The interior inks have been worked on and rendered to a limited degree and it makes the book very pleasant to the eye.

Still I think it is a nifty little book to put in the collection.

So, there is my newest DU pick up. :thumb:

I remember when these came out, I believe there's one also for Crossfire.

I still have to read the DNAgents, it's written by Mark Evanier, and I've enjoyed just about everything he has written. Make sure you check out Crossfire if you like the DNAgents.

I have a complete set of DNAgents and The New DNAgetns with all crossovers (now to include this little TPB) and I cannot wait to delve into them. Reminds me a bit of John Byrne's Next Men (which I also have a complete set of - I THINK as I put all of them together hear recently to find I am missing two of the latter issues. I thought for sure that LIghting Strike hooked me up, I would bet the mortgage that they are somewhere in the house).

I just completed my run of Crossfire as wel... ok here lately I finished my runs of:

Dreadstar
Airboy (and all minis + b/w classic reprints - well maybe missing one)
Crossfire
Jon Sable (First Comics)

I am now working on getting Scout (Eclipse) 13-24 (I don't know how in the hell I stopped at issue #12 and thought I was finished. I have the rest of the books Scout: War Shaman and all minis), Aphrodite IX, and about six issues of Rising Stars to include the mini-series.

My AC collection is on the verge of busting out of a small box and I know there are more out there because my Femforce stops at 107 and I see that 149 has just been released (that is going to be a lot of catching up right there). AC is a REALLY fun 'active' universe to collect. The only frustration I have had from that is at some points they printed the books in black and white and then in color and then back to black and white (come to think of it, the latter issues of Crossfire were in black and white... probably a sure sign for an indy title back in the day that they were not doing so well or on the verge of cancelling the title).

So there are some of my current 'up in the air' titles/DUs that I am working on. I am waiting for my stimulus check for military retirees to get here so that I can just hop onto mycomicshop.com and go a bit crazy. I was VERY happy with the Dreadstar, Airboy and Crossfire I got in from them. They were in FANTASTIC shape and I mean looked like if I was of the mind, I could send them to CGC, kind of shape. They were GREAT. When collecting DUs, I expect the occassional jacked up book (happens more than I like) but these were pristine.

Just got these in today :thumb: Yeah I know shipping was a little high but I figured it into the total cost for how many books I was getting (.30 cents a book can't beat that) :thumb:

Never seen them so I couldnt tell you but then again that is whey I put it next to a current sized comic book so as to give some sense of size.

Were you able to get the Crossfire comic published by Antarctic Press in 1994? It's quite difficult to find.
