THAT, is one sweet game.Knightt wrote:Picked up Battlestar Galactica and some futuristic race game for Xbox... I was bored, had nothing else to buy. Both are as equally uneventful as the other.
Ah well... if I didnt have work to do for Monday, I would pick up Ultimate Alliance or Justice League Hereos but probably not tonight. Just too much to do.
Yeah, it kicks *SQUEE*... for a slower version of this try Justice League Heroes. It gets really fun when you are finally able to level up your heroes... otherwise even Supes gets his cape handed to him by some pretty lame bad guys.cobra_commander wrote:THAT, is one sweet game.Knightt wrote:Picked up Battlestar Galactica and some futuristic race game for Xbox... Yeah, couldn't get through the early levels of JLH. Way too slow. Didn't even like the X-Men Legends that much.Knightt wrote:Yeah, it kicks *SQUEE*... for a slower version of this try Justice League Heroes. But what a difference being able to play as Cap or Iron Man makes!

Or Cap and War Machine!

My wife bought me the 24 game.....only we don't have a Playstation 2 to play it on
She said that I need to go buy one to play it....thats the point....
Problem...though I'm a Sega guy...always have been always will be I have Never bought a Sony game machine or Nintindo EVER....
While I want to play the game It will be killing me to actually buy a Sony Playstation 2 to play it...
I know it makes NO sense....

Don't worry Brian, the PS2 prices will go nowhere but down now. I'm in the same boat as you, I need to eventually get one so I play the Shadowman Second Coming game.betterthanezra wrote:I hope your right Pete I really do....Zero wrote:You'll wish you'd bought one earlier once you get a PS2.betterthanezra wrote:My wife bought me the 24 game.....only we don't have a Playstation 2 to play it on

Bought the original Resident Evil (10 bucks) that was remade for the gamecube...ugh. While the game is still very nicely rendered and the graphics are top notch I forgot about the horrible camera angles and scrolling problems from room to room. It's almost impossible to aim your weapons and you can't tell which direction you need to move to control your character. Don't waste your money on this, especially after being spoiled by playing RE4.

The story and depth of the game (especially for such an old one) are great. The issue is the controls, I've basically given up on the game now because it's so frustrating. I'd rather go back and start RE4 all over again.cobra_commander wrote:You guys are trashing a classic here...I'll always cherish my GC RE...even if RE4 is better...RE is still number 1 in my books

Finally got a Wii (actually got one for my son too since they are only 250 a piece). What an awesome system, it's easy to see why Sony is getting it's butt kicked now. I wasn't sure if I would be that crazy about the new controllers, but they are so intuitive and easy to adapt to. I'm playing Marvel Ultimate Alliance and so far the game is awesome. The plot of the game is worthy of a major motion picture and the cinematic scenes are incredible.

I love mine too. I'm working my way through Twilight Princess, and my son loves Antbully and the Virtual Console games like Mario Kart 64 and Zelda.Daniel Jackson wrote:Finally got a Wii (actually got one for my son too since they are only 250 a piece). And we all play Wii sports like fools. Even my 4-year old is good at it. I really think it gets harder as your skill level increases.
I had trouble finding a second Wiimote but I have one on its way from Amazon.com now.

Nice! You guys got your Wiis.
Ocarina of Time was just released for the Virtual Console, too.
I've been on my 360 a lot lately ... just finished Crackdown, which was simple but a lot of fun. I've been geeking out with a lot of Uno online ... I had a nice 15-match losing streak.
I've also been playing Virtua Fighter for the PS3. I haven't learned a fraction of the moves so I've been doing a lot of button mashing. Pretty game, though.

I wanted to start with Twilight Princess, but my wife bought me Marvel Ultimate Alliance and surprised me with it after I brought the Wii home. I didn't have the heart to throw the game aside and start playing Zelda. So my son is playing my Zelda game now <sob>.ckb wrote:I love mine too.
