I just picked up 3 long boxes of Valiants. Nearly almost all post-Unity, but close to complete runs of everything. The only thing not in there were Solars and X-Os. All approximately VF to NM.
Best of the haul:
11 copies of A&A 0
5 copies Shadowman 1
3 copies Shadowman 2
6 copies Shadowman 3
HARDCorps 5 Comic Defense
Lots of later and last issues
Total: $60, about 8 cents a book.
In addition, I got contacts from a couple guys that seem to have plenty of pre-Unity valiants and are willing to part with them for cheap.

Ask them if they've got any Valiant Voices.Dr. Solar wrote:I just picked up 3 long boxes of Valiants. Nearly almost all post-Unity, but close to complete runs of everything. The only thing not in there were Solars and X-Os. All approximately VF to NM.

I would imagine on a good day, with lots of bidders, a 9.6 would go for anywhere between $60- $90. And maybe even more.GJB wrote:Cool, thanks R! I've seen 9.8's of VALIANT books go for bucks, 9.6's I have no clue. I figured 9.6 is still NM, can't go wrong there.Rufusharley wrote:Uh, yeah.GJB wrote:CGC 9.6 Harby 0 Pink for $39 and change. Nah. It's crap. Sorry you got ripped off. Tell you what, send it to me and I'll give you the money for it. Just don't get used to this.GJB wrote:CGC 9.6 Harby 0 Pink for $39 and change. I'm not sure if that is a good deal though. What do you guys think?
Oh and I don't do this for everyone....I'll make an exception for you though.

I forget how much I paid exactly, but I think I paid $32 for a slabbed Harby 0 Pink 8.0GJB wrote:CGC 9.6 Harby 0 Pink for $39 and change. I'm not sure if that is a good deal though. What do you guys think?
LOWEST ON CENSUS!
It was early on in my collecting and I really wanted one. I probably would have paid that for a raw one at that point and cinlach was having a board auction. I think it is kind of neat having the lowest on the census - it's unique. At least until a 7.5 gets slabbed.
So yeah, you did well.

I'll take mine and use it as a shoe horn for about a week and then send it in.Chiclo wrote:I forget how much I paid exactly, but I think I paid $32 for a slabbed Harby 0 Pink 8.0GJB wrote:CGC 9.6 Harby 0 Pink for $39 and change. I'm not sure if that is a good deal though. What do you guys think?

I dig it. If you can't have the highest, having the lowest is unique in my book.Chiclo wrote:I forget how much I paid exactly, but I think I paid $32 for a slabbed Harby 0 Pink 8.0GJB wrote:CGC 9.6 Harby 0 Pink for $39 and change. I'm not sure if that is a good deal though. What do you guys think?
