RAI VVSS 21 for 17 cents! They had a 10 cent and 25 cent sale. The VALIANT books were in the 10 cent, and on the top row were Marvel books at half price. The VVSS was on the top, so I went to ask what it was (Marked for $4.95, I'd have GLADLY paid that), and the owner asked his main comic guy about it. His comment was, "It doens't matter, it's just VALIANT. 10 cent or 25 cent is fine." He said to me, "We'll split it down the middle and take 17 cents." I could have hugged him!!!

:D

Also got about 30 VH2 books with print runs under 20K in a 5/dollar box at another LCS the day before.
Nice. :thumb:

WOW! Nice haul. If you got any you don't need, there are a few I wouldn't mind helping you shorten that amount you spent! ;-)

Thanks Z. It was actually $100.50 with shipping, my bad. Still a great deal. All I can say is check out Atomic Avenue .com from time to time. I don't remember who, but someone from these boards recomended the site a few weeks ago. I checked it out and grabbed the books. The CEAR was $2, Unity Red was $5, Harby pinks were $6 etc.. I'll tell a slightly funny story about their purchase later.

That's more than I would have paid for X-force. Heck, I almost feel like I need to pay someone to take it from me. We are talking about the same book here, right?

The original selling price was $3.00 dollars, so I saved money. I'm probably gonna sell it to some kid who thinks it's really valuable and pays alot for it. (I know, I'm such a con artist.) It also came with a free X-Force card.

X-Force #1's are more common than Bloodshot #1's.

A quarter was a fair price. Free card and all.

Some people spend their whole lives believing in fairy tales, usually because they don't want to give up the fabulous prizes.

I just won this and thought it was a good deal as firstly its a 9.8 and it has TWO signatures on it and is CGC graded.

The CGC stuff is nice but it is so much sweeter with two signautres, I mean what are the chances of these two being together when CGC is around. I know it might be a lame comic without the CGC grade but signatures as well!
