dave wrote:Even though it was said in jest earlier, I do kinda think these are coming out too fast. Title-wise that is. We've got 4 titles going already but nothing seems to be gathering much steam except for what we've seen regarding the plans for Solar. In the early VALIANT days they established Solar and Magnus before launching other stuff. Could too much on the table be waht's causing the delays?

I believe that is a strong possibility! I also believe thats why we have not seen anything on Spektor or M.A.R.S. Patrol as of yet. I think they bit off more than they could chew at 1st and they are now trying to get caught up! Shooter stated that there are Diabolical Plans in the mix for the Dark-Key Universe and that we would see a hint of that in The Mighty Samson #2! Thats comes out this coming week so I hope it will indeed give us a HINT of what is coming to us in the Dark-Key Universe!!! :atomic:
Someone did identify a link between Solar and Samson, on another thread...

a stray thought occurred to me...

the particular link in Samson 2 ---->> end of the world ----->> Solar (Valiant) Alpha-Omega story arc....

:hm:

more confirmation:
Plus, in the conclusion of Solar's origin epic, a man-made sun lays waste to the world by fire. In the heart of the thermonuclear inferno, a consciousness strives to prevent the end of the planet--a consciousness reborn as The Man of the Atom.

Its looking like Jim is cooking something up with this story. The interesting part of "a man-made sun lays waste to the world by fire" is I wonder if that is what caused Samsons world to be ruined or is it something that happens later on. :atomic:

TFAW added Turok 6 for August 3rd release, and the top post now reflects as much.

If they are going to keep staggering these, they should stagger them better. Nothing scheduled for March and then 3 books released on the same day?

I guess it saves me gas money. :P

So.....over a month until the next Dark Key books. This is a little rediculous.

Agreed. You would think at some point Dark Horse would start to address this ongoing problem.

I havent seen anything on it. I've sent them an email as many others on the DK website have done and I just got the typical "Thank You for Your Continued Support of DH and We'll get the Titles Out as SOON as Possible" responses!

I really thought, give them time, after a year or so they will get it together but with the 1 year marker coming up it looks as if there is no end in sight! :atomic:

Can we get this thread sticky-ed? It's impossible to guess when one of these books are coming out.
