She was in the story because she was the link to Bloodshot's past and the reason all the assassins came to town when Bloodshot did. Plot device, pure and simple.Jaknife wrote:by her purpose, i mean, what was the point of having her in the story. yes, i know she is the chicks mudda, but still. i just thought it was another issue 46, which simply stood alone.

#46 was written [by Simon Fuhrman], pencilled, inked, colored and lettered (and stored as an inventory story). Mark Moretti re-scripted it over the original art, so--yes--it DID stand alone. Issues 46-48 were inventory stories brought out of storage when they knew it was time to close shop.
For a side-by side comparison of the orginal v. published #46, you can go here.

I don't remember Gilad in any Bloodshot book after Birthquake...The two went from frequent appearences in each others titles to none...but EW went WAYYYY downhill in the later issues anyway... :xdave wrote:we seem to have found a topic ant'ny enjoys!!!

Why waste time learning, when ignorance is instantaneous?

The last time Gil was almost around was in the LAST STAND special. I wrote a FanFic tale about the Gil/Jill/Bloodshot triangle, once...dave wrote:i'm planning on reading (or re-reading) all the bloodshots...i'm still missing #32 though-i think...
