1. Shadowman (easily the most consistent of the Valiant books from beginning to end)
2. Archer and Armstrong (I thought it was awful after BWS left but those first 12 were great)
3. Eternal Warrior.
A lot of other great stuff but much of it was to hit or miss after Unity to call it an overall favorite.

About 16 issues. *drum roll, cymbal crash*Knightt_333 wrote:Does anybody know what the Acclaim Bloodshot was all about ? I only have issue #1 and dont know a thing about that title. Any copies out there, cheap ?
In my opinion, VH-2 Bloodshot was the best title to come out of Acclaim, but some would call me a bit biased, I suppose.

There were Mafia elements in the VH-2 version, as well. As to "cheap" copies, I don't know. You used to be able to snag 'em for next to nothing, sadly, but Greg's site and subsequent interest in many things Valiant (-related) might have changed that.
If you can't get the books, Joe Petrilak used to have some online VH-2 Bloodshot "trading cards" for a flavor of the first handful of issues. It should be archived here someplace, unless Greg hasn't gotten around to restoring it after the great "Endore" fiasco.
Hope this kinda helps.

Joe Petrilak STILL owes me a copy of every Valiant gold AND the Armstrong and Gilad brew. Damn it.
And three favorite titles: Harb, Solar, BWS A&A, in that order. Ok, and X-O. Funny that BWS worked on three of those four, huh? God I love BWS. Is there anything more beautiful than, say, Conan #16?
Not that I know of.

I'd have to agree, VH-2 Bloodshot kicked *SQUEE*! One of my favorite books ever.In my opinion, VH-2 Bloodshot was the best title to come out of Acclaim, but some would call me a bit biased, I suppose.

I would have to say that my favorites are in order:
1: Harbinger - It was like the opposite of the X-Men and I loved it
2: Magnus Robot Fighter - Magnus was just damn cool
3: Solar - The first 10 issues were amazing
Honorable Mention: X-O Manowar - I like how Solar sent him back to his original time after Unity and then he had to sleep until the present. WOW!

I just liked the other three series better.dave wrote:it wasn't one of your top three though!
what did you like about geomancer?
i've only read issue four..so i'm really asking-not giving you a hard time!

I liked the potential of Geomancer, but he really didn't have enough of a run to tell me whether the concept would have worked over time or not.
After Shooter left, most series seemed to take a bit longer to find their footing. Bloodshot, to me, didn't really draw me in until the Rampage crossover. And that was about 27 issues in versus the total of 8 that Geomancer got.
I liked the idea of a Geomancer who was able to take care of himself in physical combat, if necessary.
So fair or not, my preference for him had more to do with the promise I saw in him versus the actual issues that got published. So based upon actual issues published it just didn't seem right to place his series in my top 3.

nope, sorry, that's unfair. you can't say it was good, because it could've been...just kidding-you can say whatever you want of course!
with bloodshot, i was hooked immediately, but then disappointed that the whole "where did i come from" storyline was finished up so soon-then i thought it dragged on for a while, and if before ever got good again, i was already gone (before rampage)
i'm glad they didn't go the wolverine route-but they could've dragged it out a year or two longer...imo

About Bloodshot, I should clarify.
I always liked his series, its just that Rampage is where I went from reading it because it was a good VALIANT series - to really being excited about it.
Probably a combination of really liking the art, and seeing him interact with the rest of the growing superhuman community.
