Oh yeah, the story was great. When Serge got the series it was like the second coming of Shadowman, the book felt more like the Jack Boniface days.

Krain, apparently, changed his name to Clayton Crain.

One of his most recent works I've seen was the Venom/Carnage mini series for Marvel.

He did some stuff for Top Cow, mostly Darkness and Universe with Paul Jenkins.

He also did Curse of Spawn for McFarlane.

He's also doing Ghost Rider with Ennis at Marvel.
:atomic: Comics are like a Rorschach test, everyone has a different opinion on what they are and can be... :atomic:

I remember btw one artist I had the distinct pleasure of talking to at San Diego pointing out that as his skills improved, he always felt ashamed of his older work. I guess oneself is the worst critic.

Ooops. Yeah, sorry.

We're always our worst critics. I've seen artist's paralyzed by their own fear of doing work, knowing that when they were done, that they could have done it better. It's pretty scary stuff.

I've also known artists who stopped producing work as a way to simply free themselves from their demons. It scares me to talk to other artists (or former artists I should say) who say, "I'm so much happier since I stopped making pictures." In a way, you win, the demons are locked away, but I'd rather figure out how to make peace with them so that fear and loathing and doubt don't destroy me every time I finish a piece.

It's like old relationships. Learn, but more importantly, MOVE ON.

And then, there are others like my friend Ron Lim, who define untortured.
