Same here. Breaking a complete set intentionally is almost unfathomable. I have generally enjoyed almost everything to some degree, but I'll admit I had zero interest in Valiant High and only bought it to keep my Valiant collection complete.
Ironically I thought Valiant High was readable when you take it for what it was (ie out of continuity)
I never actually read it. I was mainly turned off by the concept and the fact that it was out of continuity. Maybe I need to take another look.

Comixology sale it’d be worth it, especially with less books coming out. I’m not over hyping it though, it’s just decent.

Hey hey hey now, I can be witty. I just don't want to waste it on that kid!

I was ordering the Valiant bundle on DCBS but it looks like they don’t offer a monthly bundle anymore so I pre-order the two books individually.
I had that going on for a long time too, but in the age of variants and amidst other hunts it was just a lot to keep up with unnecessarily. So when I finally dropped all of the Valiant monthlies, I turned to the Deluxe books for several years. That was the first time I embraced "trade waiting" over buying monthlies! I have about 20 of those deluxe editions on a bookshelf right here next to my desk. Not really sure if I'll ever pour over them again though - maybe the 4001 a.d. and Rai stuff.....

Digital has found a place in my collecting, finally. But it's not for the monthly reading as much as archiving and quick reference on the fly for me.... I'm still reeling from the GiT Corp Bloodshot fiasco lmao!

I use Comixology when I want to try stuff I’m not sure about..if it’s a dud you don’t mind as you paid less for it. Found some gems though, like Ed Brubaker Criminal series !
