It fills me with sadness that they hate Louisiana...

Re: Bad Idea stores!
Where are you? I started a Forbidden Planet Subscription via mail order.
Previously (few years ago) Forbidden Planet Cambridge was bad on getting books, they are much better now. I get pretty much all I order, sometimes they have to track down a missed issue, or if I ask they will get an issue from another store if I didn't order it. Much better now.
But with Bad idea, thought I would just start a subscription via mail order to make sure I get it.
£1 postage on top of price, I was expecting £10 overseas postage per issue, so for £1 Glad I can get it.

Or I could fly to Dublin. Might be faster and even cheaper (thanks to Ryan air) but still.... #BadIdea
So, I'll probably mail order ENIAC (from Forbidden Planet/UK or the Big Bangie in Dublin) and that'll be it. No way I'm gonna pay more then 10 Euros for each and every issue and series just to wait an additional 7-10 business days. Back in the day, comics used to be affordable.
VEI - I look forward to you one day publishing MORE than 9-10 books per month

IIRC, it's about £5 for 1 comic and unregistered mail and about £8-9 for registered mail; and +1 for each additional item.
It will certainly be more expensive after end of 2020 or whenever the UK will have completely left the EU.

Re: Bad Idea stores!
£5 pounds postage for one comic Uk to Germany. Bad but not that bad.
Before they added all the stores, I was thinking I would have to get them from USA and figured on $10 postage an issue ~ which was very off putting.
Just checked royal mail online ~ came up as £4.90 to Germany. But you could ship probably all for issues in that one £4.90 envelope. They will be only shipping one issue at a time.
You never know, Album in Paris France may latter become a store.
Might save on shipping, and they will have a mainland store in Europe.

Sure. Don't get me wrong, I was less disappointed when I saw the 2 European shops.Phantom wrote: Sat Mar 14, 2020 11:14 am £5 pounds postage for one comic Uk to Germany. Bad but not that bad.
It's okay for ENIAC but long term not really.
