Not the same league, but some 4 years ago a LCS was closing and I lucked out- about 20 TWD books under #100 for 50 cents each. Also, on that same buy, and for 50 cents/comic I got the almost entirety of Snyder's run on Detective, starting with #871 (#880 alone is a 70/80 dollar book today) and other key 21st century Batman issues, like #700 and Batman & Robin #16.

when atomic comics was bucking out everything right before it closed i went to all 3 locations and bought up longboxes worth of 20 to 30 buck books probably 3000 worth of comics forgot al labout it still ahve a few great runs like wolverine 1 to 4 civil war complete and others
