Something like that would be okay for meSunlight on Snow wrote:Good point.Shadowman99 wrote:40 pages.
Hope that the majority are actually story pages!
Could be a regular story by Kindt and a short prologue by Gage and a few teaser. I wouldn't mind to have Smallwood's Shadowman teaser in it.
It's only $3.99 so I won't complain....

And there's still a difference between what is stated at the bottom of a solicitation and what is put on a cover in giant letters. The X-O Manowar Annual has only 43 story pages while promising "64 pages of warrior warfare" on the cover. The Bloodshot Annual is slightly better with 51 story pages of "64 pages of all-out destruction." What were they thinking?Shadowman99 wrote:Something like that would be okay for meSunlight on Snow wrote:Good point.Shadowman99 wrote:40 pages.

It's only $3.99 so I won't complain....I just find it a bit irritating when companies advertise 40 pages (of which there technically are within the physical comic) but say 10 are advertising/editorial pages (etc.). If I'm told the comic is 40 pages long I want at least 38 story pages, accounting for the cover interior side because to me a comic = front cover-story pages-back cover ideally. But that's probably wishful thinking realistically. At standard cover price I'll be happy so long as I enjoy what story content there is at the end of the day, but I will throw my rattle out the pram a bit if there are too many adverts, which is fair enough right?
