Agree again. Secret Weapons was the runt of the litter. We already had Aric and The Armorines in suits.

And now we've got Aric, Armourines and the Vine in suits, so no more suits please!

My biggest problem with the original Psi-Lords was that it was incredibly bland. The original H.A.R.D. Corps was in itself very mediocre (especially compared to the current rendition), and Psi-Lords was just "H.A.R.D. Corps INNNN SPAAAAAAAAAACE!!!" At the very least I can remember who Gunslinger and for Armorines who Gunny were. I can't for the life of me remember any of the actual Psi-Lords by name.

This is one series that I personally wouldn't mind completely revamping from the original base. Just to give it something to help it better stand on its own.

That's sorta the pigeonhole I have it in but in the few times I've gone back and read it, was pleasantly surprised. There was a lot of interaction (and love interest?) with a young woman that was with them as an emissary from Earth, Danae Del Sol. The art was pretty good too

That was an issue, to be sure. The color scheme made it easy to confuse them all and kind of jumble them together. And it wasn't around that long, so there's that, too.

Agreed. They might do well to focus on, say, three main characters at first and build out from there.

For me, that was the defining starting state of things. They were all very low-key/dull personalities. But it was explained how that was a side effect of their condition of living for so long. On the surface, they were very bored and boring. As the series progressed though, you started picking off their social camouflage and seeing more of the complex insides and individuality. I can't say that I remember any of their names specifically either, but I remember some of their quirks...

Wait! I did just remember one of their names - Commander Griffen! Ha!

Anyway, I remember the two scientific types that were so engrossed in the result of the experiment that they risked blowing the entire station to hell to see what would happen. I think one of these two scientists was name Ba'al or something like that. Not the Stargate system lord, but like that name. Talking about it again makes me wanna go dig out those 10 or 11 issues and read them again. Go back to the days when they could tell a whole story in a single issue instead of a minimum of 4.
