Well, I've just seen some Valiant-era Turok bashing on here before and I'm not entirely sure if it's playful teasing or legit. The internet isn't exactly good at interpreting such things to textjeremycoe wrote:I didn't like the Dynamite (sucks!) version, if that's what you're asking. I did like the VH1 and Acclaim versions.

Re: New Valiant Trademarks
I never hated the VH1 series. I just didn't think the concept worked in a long term series. Dinosaur hunting got tiring and repetitive. He would be great as a side character or in a mini. Plus, Magnus was one of my favorite books. So when their names (or similarities in this case) are posted together I'll always hop on the Magnus boat.omega_override wrote:Well, I've just seen some Valiant-era Turok bashing on here before and I'm not entirely sure if it's playful teasing or legit. Personally, I've never really liked Magnus all that much, though I do like the overall concept or at least in theory. Kind of really disliked it when Rai was turned into it's sister bookDr Noel wrote:Plus, Magnus was one of my favorite books. Re: New Valiant Trademarks
Dynamite's Magnus was actually really freaking good, but that's mainly because FVL is such a fantastic writer. Still would be hype for a return to Valiant. And Turok could definitely use some salvaging (though if we could somehow save the Turok/Altani romance I would just be in heaven).
And y'know, not too bummed out anymore on not having Solar. We've got Divinity, who does the same thing but is a black Russian. Eat that up SJWs.
EDIT: Oh you tricky little *SQUEE*.
