I'm not seeing much point to this series. The artwork sucks and though I thought the writing on the first issue was fun, I felt like the second was written by someone who knew little about Archer. I buy this only because I buy all Valiant, but I'll be glad when Dead Drop and Imperium are done.

Me too.

I would rank it easily in VEI's top 3, and quite probably as the best book they have done from this reader's perspective.

Still, different strokes for different folks.

This thread needs some "positive" vibes. That's the most I can do

I don't hate it as much as some, but I thought it was a step down from issue 1. Hopefully issues 3 and 4 are better.

Didn't realise you were talking about Dead Drop!

Well, I'm not really a fan of Dead Drop, but there are (thankfully) only two more issues to go, so I don't see any harm in buying them to see what happens in the end

In actuality, I really didn't like the story in Imperium #5. I guess maybe my expectations were too high. It was better than Dead Drop #2, though.
