This is an insanely good book.

Every character in this book -- is brilliantly conceived. The story is refreshing ... and interesting ... and dense ... and complex... This is the best work Dysart has done with Valiant.

Sunlight On Snow ... wow ... an amazing character. Beautiful character. We've seen this trope before .. with the "robot" discovering/longing for humanity .. but this is a beautiful and poetic twist.

In regards to the Father theory -- I hope he is not Father.

Even though SOS is considered part of this "villain" team. I do not consider him a villain. Father is a villain. Harada is a villain. I still think Harada is Father.

Same. It's Harada's vision incarnate: a perfect society with population control, no material scarcity and no war or murder ... and with him in total control.

Touching on LV-99s origin, I could see it easily explained as a collaboration between PRS and the Vine. Both were members of the Sect, so the connection is already there.
Good Morning, that's a nice tnetennba.

Thank you Valiant for putting out such a damn brilliant comic that does not talk down to the reader or vainly try to fit into the "superhero mold". Definitely my favorite series right now. Sunlight on the Snow is such an amazingly written character. The whole comic makes me excited, really blowing it out of the ocean. I love the heavy sci-fi concepts and political intrigue.

A stunning series continues.

I love the heady mix of big ideas, intricate plotting and narrative, incredibly well-realised characters who we are only just being introduced to, coupled with great art, design and colour. A fantastic package for this reader. Dysart is playing with some big pieces and I hope VEI honour that be reflecting what happens in Imperium elsewhere, even in small ways.

The intricate plotting mixed with big ideas got me to thinking about Hickman's work on stuff like Ultimates. With Hickman, it all feels a little cold and mechanical for me, even if evidently well crafted. With Dysart there is everything Hickman is capable of, but some real heart in there too, making for a greater whole. I know mileage will vary, but it is a comparison that came to mind.

This book feels like it is something truly special. VEI can lay claim to a few truly special books in my eyes, and I hope this gets the attention and recognition I feel it deserves. Maximum kudos to the creative team and to VEI. :thumb:
VEI - I look forward to you one day publishing MORE than 9-10 books per month

My LCS misplaced my issue so I'm just getting to read this now. You know a writer is something special when he makes you feel for a robot and a genetically engineered killing machine. I'm extremely curious where the relationship between SOS and LV99 is going and if they will find some way to cobble together a makeshift network or gathering only accessible by the two of them.
