I thoroughly enjoyed #3, and have done the series so far. Pitching it as a mini series may have hurt its sales out of the gate, which to me seems such a shame for such a well-crafted tale.

This is great stuff, and I hope VEI make more of an effort with Dr. Mirage going forward. :thumb:

This is MY kind of book! Art is phenomenal. Story is better than anything I've read in quite some time.

Please Dino, Warren, whoever: don't let Jan van Meter go and make sure this book goes past the miniseries. Please!
Totally agreed with the points above. :thumb:

....except about cancelling half the line... :)

+1 - Well said.

Another stellar issue. Powerful character moments yet again with the story of their 'deaths'. I love the continued haunting richness & complexity to the characters & environment of the spirit world, and the detail in the adherence to the supernatural rules that must be followed or broken to achieve a set goal.

Add my name to the list of people who want to see this creative team tackle Shadowman!
I think this team could be a great fit for Shadowman. But if given a choice, I would want to see more Doctor Mirage from them. :)

That said, if Shadowman had a rebuilding of the damage done to the IP in character development terms from 13-16 and End Times 1-3, I think Van Meter could be the ideal writer to salvage the good from the wreckage.
