I would definitely love to see HCs of Unity, Solar, and Magnus but because of ownership question and current Dynamite publications, chances are probably close to 0 at the moment. After the HARDCorps and EW HCs, Q&W probably makes the most sense.

I wonder what the hold-up is on the Eternal Warrior one, considering they made a FCBD special to promote it?
it would be great for the characters is Solar, Magnus, and Turok could be reprinted for a new generation to discover. since Dynamite seems to be trying so hard to be another Valiant, one would think they'd have to be seriously pursuing this...

At last year's Phoenix Comicon, I asked about VM editions of the Gold Key books and Unity. We (the audience) were told the VEI have the rights to reprint Gold Key character appearances i.e. the Harbinger VM Edition. However, Dinesh made it clear, in no uncertain terms, that VEI had no intention of reprinting those books (Gold Key titles) or, for that matter, Unity. This was followed by the explanation that they want to focus on their original characters. A stand I mostly support.
As for Dynamite reprinting these titles. They might be able to. I know many fans here dislike DE for going ahead and publishing these books, especially in light of their obvious attempts to copy Valiant, BUT!... At the end of the day, Western Publishing owns these characters, and as I understand it (take Marvel's Transformers and GI Joe titles) they have the right to assign license to republish Valiant's previous works. Now that said, they might owe royalties to VEI if they do so where stories involve VEI intellectual properties, but I admit I don't know the specifics. I do know that the name Turok: Dinosaur Hunter, for example, isn't owned by VEI, it's owned by GK. That's why DE are using it over Turok, Son of Stone. That said, Unity would, of course, belong to VEI since it used Gold Key characters, but was not a GK title or concept.
My guess, and its purely speculation, is that BWS is somehow holding up the Eternal Warrior VM Edition. No concrete reason for this, just a feeling.

I wonder what it would be like to be a lonely, muck-encrusted monster? Probably be an improvement.

It's great that there is a rich and growing diverse cast of characters throughout the VALIANT Universe that they can focus on their original characters while creating new ones. However, they were able to do that, in part to a large degree, because they were able to stand on the shoulders of Solar, Magnus and Turok during those early years. Those characters are seen as important and more tied to the overall VALIANT Universe than they have been since their GK years. One day they will come home permanently and legally I suspect.

Not sure if it's been mentioned elsewhere . . . HARDCorps HC pre-order is $19.99 (reg price $39.99) through DCBS.
