Whew! When this arrived this morning, I pretty much shut down my company for half an hour so I could post the first picture. Phones were ringing, techs were knocking on my locked door, I left a client sitting for 10 minutes in the reception area...

Just a heads up for anyone interested. Tomorrow morning on this thread I will be posting the backstory of how this all came to be. It started with the request to pick up a rittenhouse card and grew from there. It really is quite a story. Kind of the tale of Elery and Bruce.

Then, later tomorrow, we will be putting up the announcement of round two under a separate post on the boards, giving you the details of how you can once again gain access to a con exclusive which you would normally need to attend NYCC to get. I can tell you it will be strictly limited to the first 50 to sign up so be sure to watch for it and hop on it quickly because we think it will reach the 50 limit very quickly now that members have seen what is possible.

Oh, hell yeah! Thank you guys so much! I even pulled one of my guys into the office (he knows nothing about comics) and showed him the book.

"See this? There's 22 of them on planet Earth and I own one!" He was happy to see me so excited about something he completely doesn't understand.

Oh, and I will be attending the NYCC so let me know how I can qualify for another goodie or help! Count me in as of right now!

I was kinda thinking the same thing. If there is ever a completionist VEI checklist, would you have to own one of these babies to "have them all"?

Still need to do Harbinger, Bloodshot, Archer and Armstrong vols. 2

Posted reviews for the nine TPBs that it would let me. That was fun. Wish I had not been swamped with work when Elery first started this. I would have loved to been able to participate. At least, I'm able to get in on round 2, although something tells me it won't be nearly as cool.
