I have..hmmm...I have something Jack Kirby Secret stuff....for the life of me, I can't remember what it's called...but it's got a Walt Simonson (one of my all time faves, by the way!) cover, and came in something like chrome, red, gold.....maybe something else. I buy them when I run across them.
By the way....if someone's selling New Mutants Annual #2 in NM for $1, I'll buy EVERY single one you can get (you know, up to like 100 or so...let's not get TOO crazy!) They're just not easy to find out here, DOUBTLESS because of the massive Asian population in California.
So....anyone out there? $1 each, plus S&H.

Well she might not be the best looking girl out there, but she is by far one of the better Psylocke cosplayer I've seen to date. She got that costume made 100% accurate to the last details. That is unless you've seen a better Psylocke cosplayer, then bring on the pics.DawgPhan wrote:She isnt anything special...someone of you guys might need to put the comics down and get out every once and a while...depluto wrote:

Yeah, I have a red one...if I find it (HA!) I'll scan it for you...MagnusRF wrote:The Kirby stuff had a Simonson cover, if memory serves, and there was the regular bluish silver edition and the Kirby-chrome goldish edition. I don't recall a red one, but if you have one, let me know! I'm a Kirby fanatic!!!!
and no...it's not for sale.

I figure, barring some catastrophe, we're gonna have a really neat Sotheby's sale right about 2032.

So the red one's are rare? Huh, I bought one at a store in NW AR called Rock-Bottom's. I alredy had the gold version and thought the red was the regular and got it to read (which I never got around to doing, of course.)
Same trip, got Harby 1-5 with coupons intact, Solar MOTA 1-11 and some scattered pre-Unity X-O, Rai, Magnus and ShadowMan, all for around $25-30. Cool guy running that shop -- Has an original Marvel Kirby page hanging on the wall as you walk in (if I remember correctly.)
BTW RF, if you really want it, I'll trade you the Kirby red for the Defiant U book if you get extras.

You mean Bloodshot #6 and 7, featuring the first Ninjak?Ninjak 6 & 7
I thought of a couple more...Thor #432 and 433. Thor "kills" Loki (yeah, right) and #433 had the "new" Thor.
And X-Men #253...wow, a new team! The X-Men are now Forge, Strong Guy, Legion, Moria McTaggart, and Siren, if I remember correctly. Yeah, that lasted a while.
Or Avengers #300. Another new team! Steve Rogers, Mr. Fantastic, Sue Richards, Thor, and The Forgotten One! Wow! (though I don't think this issue was ever hot)

Dunno....I got one in a lot deal on eBay about 5 years or so ago, and haven't seen another. I would assume they're 'rare', but....books like this (just like Shadowman Vol 3 #2 Var) have a tendency to disappear in collections and never get seen again, until some event, years down the road, recalls people's minds, and they dig them out.X-O HoboJoe wrote:So the red one's are rare? Don't worry...it's going in the book.
I have a feeling that if and when I can get this book published, there might be a lot of surprises. At least there will be interest.

I still buy Moon Knight #55, cause they really missed the boat production wise on this one.riftt wrote:the stephen platt final issues of moon knight
eternal warrior 4 and 5
green lantern 46-50

And I love EW #4.

GL #48 will prove...if they don't ditch Rayner, as they seem to have...to be a rather important book.
BUT...if they ditch Rayner, and he disappears forever, to be replaced again by Hal....
then forget it.

I think Platt only did the cover for SUPREME #12 and 25 (and some of the covers for the later Alan Moore issues, too).lobo wrote:I thought this as well, I wasn't even aware Platt did a Supreme issue...greg wrote:I thought Prophet #4 (variant) was the 1st Platt work at Image...whetteon wrote:Supreme #12, 1st platt work at image.
which is a book that definitely qualifies for this category.
