Ok...now that I've got that out of my system...

I LOVE the look. Of all the Valiant originals Shadowman was probably the most in need of a redesign (Followed closely by Archer and EW). I can see the logo seeming out of place, but it is probably because we are so used to seeing it in the middle and much larger.

Definitely not Leifeld. Pouches, yes. Small-ish hands, yes. No visible feet, yes. Gigantic scifi gun(s) and/or knives, no. So it can't be him.

Zircher and Aja have done all of the (revealed) designs thus far. Could be Zircher, but I'm not sure.

I guess this is the big reveal that bumps EW from the Winter 2012 book? Of course November is still the Fall...

Yes, I miss seeing the logo in the front of his chest. Of course, maybe he will have different outfits??

The logo certainly does seem like it doesnt mesh with the suit this time around. I would like to see it on the costume for a few issues (for nostolgia sake) but then give us a revamp of the logo as well.

And I do agree that it certainly has a Liefield feel to it but in this case I dont think its necessarily a bad thing. I cant wait to see some interior artwork.

I love the new look. Shadowman was in need of a update and while this is drastic, this is just what was needed. I see the image and can say this is Shadowman (even if the logo wasn't there).

This looks awesome! I love the update. For one I also like the Logo because it looks more like a "badge" and with the "urban fighter" look I think is terrific. I hope they keep the Voodoo/ Mystic aspects of the book. I am so thrilled with everything Valiant has done so far I am willing to try anything they put out!

Well that ain't Jack. It would be cool though if the title was called Shadowmen and there are a few of them running around including Jack. That way you could still have the new Orleans and jazz thing going on but you could wrap it more onto the new universe.

When Valiant first announced their re-launch they said there would be 4 titles. So did they change their mind, pull the wool over our eyes, or is Shadowman just going to make an appearance in one of the existing books like EW?
