It's true, VEI is doing amazing things. Sure, were nitpicking or whining about this or that -- but that's what the internet is for. If every thread on this forum was "You guys are awesome! I love everything!" it'd be boring.

We all love our spouses dearly, but we complain about they things they do that annoy us probably three times as much as we praise the relationship were in. It's just human nature. That's why Hallmark invented greeting cards and Valentine's Day.

I think this thread is exactly what was needed! Valiant is putting out some great stuff and it's nice to see that again.

Valiant is doing things right by setting up a booth at this years C2E2 show (Chicago Comic & Entertainment Expo), and it seems Valiant gave out coupons to retailers that could be redeemed at the Valiant booth for a shot glass.

The shot glass were given out to retailers for FREE by supporting Valiant.

All these great stories about how the lads at VEI are treating fans in general are fantastic.

They've knocked three out of the park thus far, and to me it is due in large part to some very talented people taking great care to respect the original source material as a launch point for the new VU.

For these reasons, fans both old and new win a rewarding experience by supporting Valiant, and I think VEI deserves all the greatest success they can achieve.

I haven't read this whole thread but one thing i have to say is that i love the writers for the 3 books valiant has out now! V-ditti, Dysart, and Swierczynski. I had a chance to meet and get to know them this weekend and they all are excited, passionate, easy to talk to, and just seam to be over all nice guys. And the stories have been AWESOME!!. Thats what got me into valiant back in the day. and it seams like they're doing it again. :thumb:

Okay, so now we have to pick a day of the year. May 2nd? Wasn't that the release of X-O #1?

Who's gonna photoshop some cards?

"For the woman I love... As we grow older together, I realize how deeply I love you. We complete each other. Sure there was that time with your sister, and the affair with your friend Barbara. And that thing with the waitress at the Italian restaurant. Comic book fans need... variants. But you'll always be my signed #1 Embossed Gold Cover CGC 9.8. Don't ever forget that. Love, John." :cloud9:

No, Valentine's Day. It's when we remember Valen and his times, during the last Shadow war.

I would agree with you, but then we'd both be wrong.
