Collector's Paradise deal for Harbinger #1 is coming

We'll have X-O #2 available, but we won't be doing package deals on it. I can't risk that much money on every issue.

The math is that to get 40 sets I have to buy 2,000 copies which is roughly $4,000 cost. Everything is based on that cost, and balancing wanting to help out members here vs the need to run a BUSINESS, which requires making profit, specially on huge outlays of funds like this one. The X-O #1 deal worked out to the point where I covered my cost, but won't make much money. Yes, I will sell a good amount of copies of regular XO #1 but not enough to make it "profitable". I can chuck that one to the fact that I am helping relaunch my favorite character of ALL TIME but repeating that is not an option. The Harbinger deal will be structured the same way as the XO deal (set of 4 covers + 10 pack of regular books + shipping) but it will be priced slightly higher and there will be only one shipping option, Priority Mail.

I should have the email out to the people who participated in the first offer later tonight, and in 48 hours to the rest of the members.

So, I just sent the Harbinger #1 deal to the 40 members who took part in X-O #1 deal. On monday, I will post a new thread with details of the offer, and will open it up to other members, starting with those who posted in this thread, but were not part of the other offer, then everyone else.

And if I may, since this was a topic between Paradise and myself, a dated COA. Many of these books will eventually be signed but they won't be signed during the book's premiere, like Paradise's will. That's an extra little nugget for us collectors.

Guys, I will post on monday for sure. I promised the people in the XO buy that they would get first crack at this 2nd deal. I am sure there will be some spots after that. I will be sending emails and giving priority to others, based on this thread. The earlier you said "I am in" or something similar the earlier you will receive the email. Pretty simple.

That certificate above is not how the Harbinger cert will look like. This one is a sticker plate that will be applied to the War is Coming poster that was part of the X-O deal. But it will look nice, that I promise.
