And they wonder why comic shops are going out of businessxodacia81 wrote:Went to the LCS yesterday and they had the poster in the front window of the store. I asked the owner about it and he said "yeah, but they won't make it, no new company does. I just put it up because it looks cool."

+1Daniel Jackson wrote:Not surprising to hear that kind of reaction coming from a shop owner. I, however, will have more faith.

He's right no new comic companies make it - IDW & Dynamite just completely failed.xodacia81 wrote:Went to the LCS yesterday and they had the poster in the front window of the store. That's what they said about Image and Dark Horse. Look at them now. Plus, Valiant can't be considered "new".BruceReville wrote:He's right no new comic companies make it - IDW & Dynamite just completely failed.xodacia81 wrote:Went to the LCS yesterday and they had the poster in the front window of the store. Good point. I think that will help although they will still have an uphill battle in today's market. Hopefully if things are done the right way, the characters will resonate with a whole new generation and Valiant will live on for a long time.Lightning Strike wrote:That's what they said about Image and Dark Horse. The right way = good stories, books on time, a new/fresh/creative way of doing things, and make sure the book is worth the price with the amount of story.
