Anyone who got out because they did not like 1 - 4 should buy 5, it is absolutely the best thus far, as good as pre-unity, and, in my opinion, the best new comic I have read in a long time.
I am now really exited about this line. We need to help get others into it, just like many did in the early Valiant days.
If they could just sped up the schedule....

Agreed. I just got issues 4 & 5......Issue 5 was one of the best comics I've read in recent memory. If the following issues keep pace, I can see this storyline being better than issues 1-10 of Valiant's Solar.
Any fans of the old Valiant title will be missing out big-time if they don't nab issues 5-up.

Just read it and liked it - esp. the backup origin story. The art on the origin story was quite nice but the lead story art is still bland - and I hate to say it - substandard IMO.
Storywise, things are gaining momentum. Shooter's picking up the pace and hitting his stride.
Also just read Magnus 3, felt that story was improving as well. The art was better but inconsistent.
So my conclusion, the writing is solid and plot lines are improving, piquing my interest. However, the art does not really help sell these books - except the covers, those are sharp!
