There is no way in hell that I would want this to happen. I know, just a speculative question but IF this were to even have come true, no matter how much I like the books... I would drop them.

The two universes have their own place and IMO should be separate.

I would LOVE to see CGW back in print with new stories... self contained new stories.

I'd be more receptive to tying in Shooter's Defiant or Broadway properties but no way would I want any other universe folded into things.

I vote "nay," Shooter said the Gold Key titles take place in the real world and that definately wouldn't be CGW. The reaction of Dr. Solar and everyone else to superpowers in Dr. Solar would 100% not make any sense if their were superheroes zipping around various cities on modern day Earth. You might could have them pop of Pickerel's head or something but I'm not sure how fans of the line would feel about that. They could do some ambigious "maybe it counts maybe not" crossover miniseries (like Hellboy/Ghost, Madman/Nexus, etc) or something like that, but on a regular basis I doubt will CGW intergrated into the tiles. I second the notion of Defiant/Broadway being put in there, they could fit.

Yeah, i mean i guess anything could be done. I'm just not a fan of the idea. I wouldn't mind some of the ideas brought in. Maybe being redone so that previous continuity is lost or fixed somehow. I'm just big on continuity, so there would need to be some way of correcting that for me to love it. Ghost being investigated by Doctor Spektor might be neat.

The Vortex could be the key - it is still a largely unexplained event in CGW other than creating some of the mutates in CGW and being a doorway to OTHER dimensions. I mean that is vague enough to start a plot from there.

Then again CGW has a couple of dangling plot threads as it is concerning the Vortex as well.

1) No Nexus vs Vortex
2) Vortex leaves Earth, but later shows back up as if nothing ever happened.
3) Division 13 still hiding in that abandoned gas station?
4) Hero Zero and his mystery gems given to him by the Vortex.
5) When will the swarm come?
6) King Tyger - Is he from a monastary or is he from another world/dimension? Hints has been given to both being - YES!

Then there are other chads hanging in the CGW universe as well that have never seen the light of day.

I liked how Hero Zero crossed over with Godzilla in that old one shot. Would be cool to see Mighty Samson vs. Godzilla but Dark Horse let the Godzilla rights go to IDW.

I had to write a research paper on the Theatre of the Absurd back in my high school daze. Waiting for Godot was of course the most notable. For such a relatively obscure work of surreal literature I'm impressed at how many board members know of it. Smart group of guys on here.
