I'm at a one. If each of these books reach their tenth issues, then maybe my excitement will shoot up again. The delays and zero promotion on Dark Horse's part is doing nothing to help. I'll still buy the books on release day but i'm not anxious for them like before. I predict March will be another skip month for the line too.

I'm at a five with no hesitation. Delays aside for whatever reasons (given my familiarity with the artists I'd say the blame lies mostly there with the exception of Olliffe), bottom line is the books are worth the wait compared to all of the other decompressed storytelling we get from everyone else. Shooter at least is a pro's pro who knows how to put some meat on the bones. And remember the Easter Eggs he has been planting since the FCBD book all over the place are starting to pay off.

As stated on the DK board, I'm probably more enthusiastic now than when Solar #1 was first solicited.
Mags 3 and Samson 2 delivered big this week with Turok 2 and Solar 5 promising to continue the trend. Beginning with the 4-13 releases, DH appears to be establishing a 4-week shipping schedule in an attempt to catch up. Looks like we'll be reading Shooter books on a regular basis this summer.

I agree with those who mention the slow way these books are coming out. I'd probably be at a 4, but instead find myself at a 2 right now. If there were 5-6 issues of Magnus out now, I'd be more excited, probably.
Also, seeing that they have very low print runs has dampered my enthusiasm, because I'm afraid that they'll be canceled within the next year or so, and I don't want to get all excited and have them die on me. The Shooter rug has been pulled out from under me too many times.

I dont even own them and havent read them either as yet.
I do think they can do well and will get them as and when.
Im hoping to get them at the next show at seriously discounted prices and multiples too.
I agree 100%
Say no more, hope to see you at the comic mart

What did you read on the DH boards? I think I missed it.Second_Death wrote: Mags 3 and Samson 2 delivered big this week with Turok 2 and Solar 5 promising to continue the trend.
