The con has been a real blast. Heading back to Ohio tomorrow morning so I'm missing the Sunday events. But the highlight of the con for me was meeting and talking to Jimmy Palmiotti about Jonah Hex.

I understand slym doesn't like bound books, but I always try to get some of mine autographed. I especially liked Palmiotti's autograph in my Hex 1-25 volume.

Definite highlight. Same with getting him to sign my bound copies of Wednesday Comics. He thought that book was phenomenal. Amanda Conner, sitting next to him, wasn't sketching for anyone, just signing. No probs there, but when I asked her for an autograph in my Wednesday Comics, she threw in a small Supergirl sketch as well. No pictures of that one yet.

Overall, it's been a great show; crowded as hell, but still one of the best cons I've attended.

Very nice!!!

Is Jonah Hex good throughout? Are they all one and done stories?

I read #50. It was phenomenal, but not much else.

Hex has been consistently good throughout the entire run. It helps that Palmiotti and Justin Gray have been the only writers of the book. Art has been great as well. Luke Ross started the run and had a very photorealistic quality, then the artists began to rotate -- Jordi Bernet (fabulous!), Russ Heath (all-time great), and others.

Not every story has been done-in-one, but the majority have.

It's probably my favorite ongoing series right now.

And the name and location of the restaurant is . . . .

Kinda hard to come to New York and eat your food if all we know is it's in Soho.

Soho... who can afford rent there?

The Blue Roost is at 539 Flatbush Ave. in Brooklyn. The space is small, but the food is great!

You have no idea... I started at 9:30 this morning at Jetro, started cooking at 3:00, and finished up at 10:30 PM. We can barely keep food in the place... but what a way to be busy!
