I'll work it over a little better of the next week or so.

After reading up on Image "continuity", I decided a good stopping point would be Dec 96.
I think that is my jumping off point as well. Later WildCATs and The NEW Cyberforce books were just a steaming pile of Yak dung.

Is that like Cat puke, but worse?

:hm:

Cos i saw a lot of that on Chilos list right there.

DOH !!!!

I really like most of Image (except the Youngblood and Supreme series... or ANYTHING that Liefeld was allowed to get away with and call it art) but when they went to Wildstorm under DCs banner, things went Tango Uniform...

Now the game adaptations, I think are going very well. I am currently getting Gears of War, and Prototype.

I was incredibly disappointed with Cyberforce... the artist totally ruined it for me. It seemed that Cyberforce ALWAYS had great artists so why they went with a manga-ish version of the team is beyond me. I lasted two issues and put it away forever... "POOF", gone, just like that, not in the continuity, it never happened, uh J.R. woke up from a nightmare and now all is good in my world.

Added Defcon 4, Darker Image and several Team 7 minis.

I'll have to look over the Astro City stuff. Looks like there's quite a bit before '97.

LOVE Moore/Charest Wildcats and Moore Supreme.
You know what..... and this might be blasphemous......

But, here I think Tomio...... (gulp).... Lied!

Moore's Supreme was straight poop! By far the worst of anything of his that I had read. Yuck..... yuck..... yuck.

I mean, really, really bad. Uggh. Sorry Jay. :|

Probably more a question of taste than lies. I have no reason to doubt that Tomio enjoyed or even loved the Moore run on Supreme. This seems more like the first time you have brought his taste into question. :P

Hey 'Lo... how is this list going ?

I've unearthed quite a few Supreme, Cyberforce and WildCATs issues... the offer to send them to you still stands (and I can pack them with the Black Bull comics that I have for you as well).

I bring this up now as I have been very bad about shipping stuff out. Everything is placed to be boxed up and shipped out but between work, college classes, the wife giving me a truckload of heck and my damn medical issues (Crohn's has been acting up two months in a row with an ordinary amount of flare ups), I keep seeing the pile stacking up... so to hopefully get a few things ready this long weekend is one of my goals and best to take advantage of shipping many now instead of some now, the rest later.

I too have a big Image fetish... LOTS of Top Cow stuff on my needs list. I JUST polished off a short run of Aphrodite IX (although I do need to replace my #3 issue) with a neat couple of variants and a gold foil issue (reminds me, I need to go back to the kudos section, tssegery hooked me up). But talk about VARIANTS... yowza. GREAT book but the variants to this will end me.

LMK about the Image books 'Lo.

I don't think Bloodstrike #22-24 were ever published, the same with Brigade #20-24 (I might be wrong on the exact numbering here), both had number 25 issues published as a sales stunt, basically Liefeld and Jim Lee wanted to prove that they had a direction for those books along with Stormwatch and Supreme.

Phantom Force #0, 5-7 were not published by Image.

I abandoned this project fairly early on when the list started getting so insanely large. Early Image was truly a monument to egotism.

Here's the Image section of my needs list:

Bloodstrike – 9, 17, 18, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24
Brigade vol. 2 17, 18, 19, 21, 22
Doom's IV – ½, 2
Supreme 29, 30, 55
WildCATS 0, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 21, 22, 23, 24, 26, 27, 29, 30, 31, 32, 33, 34, 36, 40, 47, 50
Youngblood v3 8, 9

I really want to get around to refining this someday but I don't even know where to begin. I picked up some pretty comprehensive Image run lots on eBay the last few days. I want to work on what Prophet and New Men books I need but not enough to actually dig up the boxes.

(just to brag a little)
