ROFL! Even better. ;) But..that only lessens the effect of the deadly eye radiation....because, you know, mirrors reflect it.

how does the non-chromium Shadowman 0 fit in?
the comic database says its six times rarer than the chromium...
but the sales is around $3.00.

Is it very rare? The reason I ask, is I just picked up a couple of copies.
but nothing special on the price.
Rare = 10-20 copies estimated to exist

Scarce = 20-100 copies estimated to exist

'Blood is the Harvest' is RARE. Shadowman #0 non-chromium is not. Is it rarER than the regular? Yes, but the regular isn't rare in any way, shape, or form, so using 'rarER' is a misnomer, at best. Is it 'harder to find'? Sure.

But not rare.

And...with the advent of eBay...NOTHING is 'hard to find' anymore unless it is GENUINELY hard to find, everywhere. Blood is the Harvest, for example.

Blood is the Harvest is a 1950 Anti-Communist comic published by the Catechetical Guild (Catholic). It's pretty far out stuff so far as propaganda goes. The sad part is....it was a bit prescient. Turns out Stalin DID kill millions. Ah well.

There are 13 color copies and 5 black and white copies known. Pretty scarce.

Oh, and the Eclipse series you mention is an 'homage' to this book, printed in the 80's. Not the same.

JPB - where were you when I needed you on the Antonio string? :D Quite a few of the members are dealers - when was the last time you tried to buy an acclaim book without the same bidders competing? The collectors are the once with no sales or odd sales - dealers beat you out to the books and flip them (to you) at a premium :!: This one is like the one about not coveting thy neighbor's wife  PS I answered before someone accuses you of being me.

Even when a well-known, generally accepted, authority declares it to be both, OFF eBay?
Issue: N.I.O. # 4
Date: MAY 1999
Comments: Loosely based upon Valiant's Rai character.
Availability: RARE - ACCLAIM collectors love to find these most-wanted gems.
Lower demand in 1999 led to the decreasing print runs for these issues.
Approximate Print Run: 3,500 copies
