To be honest with you Dino, I'm shocked that the first one sold for only $182.50. With a run limited to only 40 copies, and the books being Bob Layton File Copies no less, this book should be selling for a lot more than that IMO. But like I said, the book will sell for what the market will bear. Hopefully people will be responsible about selling their copies if that's what they decide to do, and realize that a flood of sales will depress the market somewhat, even though there are only 40 total copies out there. It would be better IMO for the next person selling to wait at least two or three months before trying to sell one.

It is nice to see that there is sufficient demand for this book to keep the price rising from the first sale to the next. Better for that to happen than an orgy of sales at wildly fluctuating values, which would doom the book to selling at a plateaued price for some time.

Is it still possible to track the ownership of each book?

S'funny...I can track the provenance of my copy from inception. I think that may be the very first book I own that I can do that with. It goes Printer - Bob Layton - Dino - Me. Cool.

Certainly a CGC note in 20-30 years. ;)

I've never thought about it that way. Very cool. But it actually should read

Printer - Bob Layton - Janet Jackson - Dino - Zeph

Mine was clearly not much better than a 9.0 or so so I wouldn't bother sending it, plus, even though I am not in selling mode, I don't think I could handle the 4 month wait, too much anxiety waiting that long for CGC results

I actually considered that before I posted, BUT....Janet never OWNED them, which is a technicality required of provenance. She was just the steward of them while she signed them. ;)

That's true, at first I counted myself out of ownership and figured you must have forgot Jayjay but I guess there was a point before I had commited to the VcVSS that I did own them.
