Anything done to the cover to "enhance" it with tricks should be left out.The only thing i want to see on a cover is a talented artist draw it. :thumb:

I wouldn't mind seeing a few a year on key issues, though it wouldn't break my heart if there are none.

I feel the same way, but as I said earlier, if it is going to add a lot to the price I would rather they just scrap the idea. Comics are way too expensive as it is.

Oooh, that chromium sure looks pretty.

I hope they do something like that for the new Magnus and Solar books. :thumb:

Maybe part of the reason, but i think there are other things to take into account too.

Shiney covers certainly do not help.

I voted no.

But if Jim Shooter decides to write Solar using toilet paper and dog *SQUEE* as ink, I will buy it in bulk.

To me the chrome doesn't suit what I want coming out of Jim Shooter or Dark Horse. Or how I want the covers to look, or feel.

I don't think Jim will want Chromed comics, and may have some say in it.

Quailty comes first, and if it came out with Chrome first issue I would be seriously put of buying it. If I did, I dought I would contunie to buy future issues as it had already been soiled.

Wow, I can't believe they picked Wildcats 25 as the number one chromium cover. I think Valiant did a much better job with the chromium.

Indeed, lets keep that kinda junk in the past. I might tolerate and even appreciate an incentive retailer cover up to 1:25 though...

If they reboot as chromium, the we'll have to adjust. But I hope they stay with the current trend of alt. covers. Pained ones would be mint!
