And, given that promo books were recently sent to/received from Italy makes me think that the GK3 weren't an issue with the delay. I am now speculating that there was a production/distribution problem.
I don't have one iota of evidence to support it, but that didn't stop me from throwing DH into the mix earlier, now, did it?

I'm curious if it the VEI disclaimer at the end on the Shooter interview.BloodOfHeroes wrote:Random House.dave wrote:what is RH?

Maybe that was the hold-up.

I actually liked the way Acclaim used Colin King as a kind of James Bond type of character, rather than putting him in that silly looking Ninjak outfit. I would like to see VEI continue with him along those lines.caxiotis wrote:I say absolute unity with a couple of pages where the ninjak character is imposed in the scene. The plan was for VH-2 Colin King to assume the role of Ninjak, in a costume reminiscent of the VH-1 model.Daniel Jackson wrote:I actually liked the way Acclaim used Colin King as a kind of James Bond type of character, rather than putting him in that silly looking Ninjak outfit. Despite what some people think, I believe that VH- 2 was heading towards being a mix of 1 & 2.BloodOfHeroes wrote:The plan was for VH-2 Colin King to assume the role of Ninjak, in a costume reminiscent of the VH-1 model.Daniel Jackson wrote:I actually liked the way Acclaim used Colin King as a kind of James Bond type of character, rather than putting him in that silly looking Ninjak outfit. But it has to be done right. Not only reprint the first five issues but they would have to include the four flip-book stories.

Well, the flip-books are half-issues, so seven total issues worth of comics. So, app. 214 pages (a guess) before a new back-up story (WHICH SHOULD BE a story about either Shiro Yagami, the 1st Rai, or possibly Sho Sugino, the second Rai, involving the Anti-Grannies obtaining the Blood Of Heroes - all IMO, of course) and if they had to charge MSRP of $27.95 to make up for the few extra pages, I would certainly not complain!dave wrote:that's kinda big! would there be room for a new story?
how many pages is that already? just wondering

I would lie a 6 issue mini-series re-introducing the Valiant universe feat. the Harby kids(um... young adults), Aric, Aram and Archer, Shadowman (?), and Darque and Harada and the eggbreakers.
Then after the 6 issue mini, they could launch Harbinger and X-O as monthly titles. Then next month (or next 2 months) launch A&A and Shadowman.
I also think that Bloodshot, Ninjak, and Gilly (maybe even the Hard corps indust.) could/should be introduced or at least mentioned/hinted at in the 6 issue mini.
And the first issue should be a double size book with a cover price of .99.
If you want to do coupons for #1-6 for a send away #0 book. I'm all for that too.
Maybe as they are announcing this, they could release a Shadowman HC. But it is time for monthly books. A six issue mini is the way to go.
Lastly, I do think that they can reference Solar (I think they need to), but I do not think he needs to be in the Uni, but they should reference him.
How you like them apples?
