The Nutty Professor wasn't too bad, but The Adventures of Pluto Nash quickly plummetted him to the bottom again.....

5 tickets. That sounds like this gag from Pinky and the Brain. They were the mice of a wizard. As they walked along a shelf labled "rare and magical ingrediants" there was a jar that said "total Ishtar box office receipts" and inside were 3 tickets.

I'd put it back, but I'm not that strong. However...yes, it's possible that they did change things midstream, but it's more likely a glitch that wasn't caught, as the issue in question is from the dark days circling BQ.
