Incidentally the word daemon is a *SQUEE* of an ancient Greek word meaning protective spirit so technically, everything written or said about them since is wrong.
Succubus is the female, Incubus is the male.

Succubus because they suck the life, Incubus because they incubate (i.e. impregnate)

Never the important ones that really have to send and get to the intended recipient. Usually then, said Daemons are on a break, and you get that delivery failure notice.
