That's two PSP's from Wal-Mart that you are personally responsible for - which will bring our total up to four ASAP! Thank you, Chris!Knightt wrote:I think that I have a couple of of donations to add but seeing as there has not been any update lately.... I am upping my donation to $350 !!!
I'm only counting systems once I have them in hand, so as not to confuse my goal and the reality. Each donation, even if it's only a dollar, adds up into another PSP.

Even better news...
Got off the phone with the Director of the Child Life party a few days ago (took me a bit to update) and she is going to get me the EXACT number of children who will be capable of using a PSP. She told me that, in the meantime, I can drop the goal down to 15, with a potential revision down slightly further.
So, not only have we chipped away at the original goal significantly, our goal so much closer now!
THANK YOU ALL for helping accomplish something truly awesome here!

Good news!
1) I received the new total - 12 PSP's needed.
As of today, we have 13 PSP's! Goal met +1!
2) I received the combined donation from Knightt - awesome! This will be purchasing games for the PSP's and a slew of MP3 players - it seems that Disney provides Shriner's with a ton of free downloads of music like Hannah Montana and High School Musical, but they lack the MP3 players to distrtibute these to the kids - well, no more! Thank to YOUR efforts, we'll be dumping enough of these on the hospital to keep them in stock through January!
I can't say ENOUGH how awesome it is to know everyone here! EVERYONE's help has been HUGELY appreciated, and makes a real, tangible difference in the lives of these children!

How about this:
Thank YOU, Ric ! ! ! If it was not for YOU, these kids would not have anything near to what YOU are providing for them. Your efforts, your fund raising, YOUR giving a darn about these kids during Christmas is what is making a difference.
You are one of the best people I know and this is but part of the reasons why, my Friend.
Great job, Ric !!!
