I was headed to work last night, but wanted to fill you guys in. Sure I could complain to the people that I know, but they would never understand.

Yesterday the UPS guy rings my doorbell and hands me a shoebox. Women's Airwalk size 6, I assume they are for my roommates girlfriend since she orders alot of stuff online even though these seemed a little big for her. As I am carrying the box to the living room I see that there is a sticker on the top of the box for Bud's Equipment Service, "That's odd, why are they selling shoes?"

Then I see my name on the box and wonder what I ordered from an equipment service. I opened the box to find a small bag of peanuts, the size of two fists, and wadded up printer paper. As I dig to the bottom of the box I see six loose Armorine Golds just laying on the bottom of the box. In no way were these prevented from moving around. The only one that may have received shipping damages was from a hole that was busted into the bottom of the box, which did damage two of them.

So here is the dilemma I am in. If enough people wish to take these off my hands as hole-fillers for their collections. Then I will eat the cost, and ship these off with "purchaser" only paying shipping. This offer is only open to those members that have a hole to fill with the agreement that in the future they will pass them on to others with the same understanding. I will not be able to ship them out until next week and as of right now you need only commit to the above agreement.

I have other obligations that need to be attended to first which are getting the "Exploder" running again and then getting some promised books shipped off to RQB. After that and only after that will I begin to ship these books out. So if you have a need and a little patience hold on and I will get these out to folks.

As of right now one is commited to MProyas (pick of the litter) and RQB (runner-up) after that there are four that will be available. You can post here that you wish to have one and I will fulfill the request at that time. If either MProyas or RQB wish to remove themselves from this for whatever reason then they can, they do not have to fulfill my requests for "no-profitting" on theirs and can do what they wish with theirs (Good Luck with that) since they had committed to taking one off my hands sight unseen. They will not have to pay for theirs either.

I was gonna post a scan, but it doesn't really do the creases justice, they are far worse than what they appear. This is the one that got tore up through the hole in the box. In the jetpack exhaust on the spine.

That is one of the the most absurd packaging practices I've ever heard of. Sorry to hear about that. Nice of you to distribute them to those in need though.

I will post scans tomorrow I wish I had a camera, but scans will have to do.

More to come........
ugh...sorry man. I should have known better.
I've never had a copy of the book and I'm not a big collector (reader who doesn't keep them in too good of condition) so if you want, per our arrangement before I'll take it.

If anyone else wants them thats cool too though.

I would contact the seller and see if he'll work something out with you. Maybe he'll let you keep the books and give you a partial refund or something. If he refuse to take responsibility, go neg his @$$.

I would only use mine to trade and since they are in that bad condition I don't think it will do me any good. Pass it on to the next guy. :thumb:

Don't worry. There will be something that will be taking its place in your box.
