Weren't some of ibooks' problems also connected to the death of the head guy (I'm thinking Byron Preiss, but I am probably wrong)?
You're right about the death of the head guy, though I'm not sure of the name, either. I think Ibooks had a bunch of other books planned that never saw the light of day.

It's a good thing for this site, or I might not know what's going on with these imposters.

Shouldn't there be a warning about this absolute crap-fest in the announcements section?

Actually, that's a good thing...
It means that even fans who were looking for Valiant didn't run into that VIP crap.

It's actually amazing... just one product, and VIP already ranks lower than Deathmate.

I think it's cool that Dr. Mirage is now a chemo patient. And even better, some unnamed girl has a tattoo pointing toward her nether regions! And they all look really cold, so it's probably set in South Dakota. Brilliant!
If you can't make a story from that, why then my name is not Dr. Tomorrow!

I really hope at some point, VEI kicks the pants off of VIP. My only fear, is that if it ends up in court, VIP has more money to throw around and drag the fight out. Kind of like what Marvel did to Defiant.

Hey, I just took my lunch hour and put together a much nicer, 24-pg ash-can using just crap from work. Admittedly, there's no overly hirsute woman with a custom shave job, but it does look better than that crap.
