Nice deal. I'm thinking of giving the Batman games a go in the future sometime, they seem pretty good :)

I got bought Motorstorm Death Valley and Motorstorm Apocalypse for my birthday, so along with receiving some great Valiant posters from Hawkeyepeps on the same day, I'm a very happy boy!

I played the demo of that and was less than impressed :| But you enjoyed it, so no worries :)

I just finished Ratchet and Clank: Quest for Booty, and I put Lego Lord of the Rings in the PS3 yesterday to start playing. I'd forgotten since finishing Lego Pirates of the Caribbean how addictive bashing all the objects and collecting all the lego was. I think I'm going to be playing it forever, because I always feel compelled to bash every object in sight...

Well, I don't have to tell you, judging a whole game on a demo isn't very fair, but whatever. Never tried a lego game before, and don't intend to. :P

I am sooooooo far behind in games... I am only now playing fallout: new Vegas game of the year edition with all of the dlc. I am enjoying it so far, hopefully I won't get bored and stop playing :D

Probably will take me another month or 2, but once its done, its on to dragon Age series or mass effect.

There is a good chance that if a great game has been released in the past 10 years, I have not played it. I tend to spend more time playing and running pen and paper RPGs like Pathfinder.
Where are we going and why am I in this hand-basket?

I am also behind on games, but I've really been enjoying Arkham Asylum. Can't wait to get to Arkham City.

I have all of the Infamous games on my PS3 as well as most of the Assassin's Creed games. Which should I do first? Opinions? No spoilers please.

Great game and so many things to do. Make sure you pick the right perks as you level up. I would suggest looking them up and find out what real benefits they have and how many points you need in the different categories to get them. One perk that is super handy is the 'jury rig perk' which allows you to repair your weapon with more gun types instead of just one.

I doubt you'll get bored, but you might get frustrated with game freezes and annoying glitches. Unfortunately, a lot more than Fallout 3 had.

Absolutely addicted to The Pinball Arcade. It's not really a problem so far but it has made me ignore most other video games to some extent. It doesn't help that owing to its recreation of dozens of classic tables it feels like 30 games in one. Addicted to Taxi and White Water.

Gave in and got a Playstation Plus subscription, now I'm a believer. Beat Saints Row III, Battlefield III, X-Com: Enemy Unknown, etc. all in a couple of months. Currently playing Hitman: Absolution.

Did a quick run-through of the new Dishonored expansion, The Brigmore Witches. Thought it had a really good conclusion to the story of Knife of Dunwall and really made a great connection to the storyline of the main game (something I thought was missing from Knife of Dunwall, which made me wonder how it was going to come together with Corvo's story in the end). The new gameplay mechanics (corrupted charms, Pull) and enemies (gravehounds, witches) were really great, too--I wish the corrupted charms at least could be back-added into the regular game, but alas, I don't think it's possible. Brigmore Manor was also an amazing stage.

I did play Arkham Asylum for a bit on my 360, but then lost interest, and eventually gave it to my parents for netflix. Arkham City looks great too, I may have to get it for PS3 at some point.

I've never played infamous, but I did enjoy the first (I think) assassin's Creed. Lots of fun sneaking around and murdering then disappearing...

You sure are right about the freezes! I am probably 40ish hours in, and have had a few times I have had to reload from it messing up. Still really enjoying it though. I had read a quick guide on the perks and I think I'm setup pretty good now. Jury Rig is great! Thanks.

Also right on not getting bored, I may actually finish this game!

Have you played any of the DLC yet or have you just been playing the main games so far? I really enjoyed the humor in Old World Blues and if you like using stealth, there are a couple of nice items available . Also liked Dead Money, but it can be a tough nut to crack if you don't level up first, (especially on melee skills). Weapons and ammo are pretty scarce in this one.

I just finished Medal of Honor: Warfighter, Batman: Arkham City and am two missions away from finishing Call of Duty: Black Ops II.

Also playing (just started) Skyrim and Dishonored.

Warfighter was emotional at the ending as usual. Can't wait to see this franchise on next gen, Xbox One.

Xbox One comes out on November 22nd !!!

I'd love to play the next Batman: Origins game on the 360 but with me getting the Xbox One on launch day, buying 360 games is kind of pointless.

Just finished Arkham Asylum and was working through the challenges until I got frustrated. I will not be getting 100% on this game - the combat challenges are just too hard. I love the predator challenges, though - it's my favorite part of the game.

Took a break with Rayman Origins in between the Batman games. I got it for $3 or so on sale through PSN as a PS Plus member. Worth every penny - this is a really fun platformer. I actually picked up every Rayman game (even the PS1 games) through PSN for a total of $10.50 - it was 5 games. I'm only missing the newest (Rayman Legends) which I think I will get for the Wii U, as the demo was really fun and I like the use of the Wii U Pad's screen

Just last night I bought the Batman Arkham City: Harley Quinn DLC add-on; it was on sale 50% off on Xbox Live. I'll check that out tonight after the Diablo III demo.

Harley Quinn's Revenge was disappointing.

Not enough to make me regret buying the Game of the Year edition or whatever, but I think I liked the alternate costumes for Batman more than HQ's R.

I mean, I basically got it for free, so, again, no real complaints. I just feel like it failed to live up to its premise. Also what are they charging for it separately, ten bucks? Not worth it. Now, if it's five, then, yeah, go for it, people.

EDIT: Everything I said about HQ's R would be null and void if it allowed you to use Robin and Nightwing in the main Arkham City, but it doesn't. So...

I just picked up Metro: Last Light.... on the CHEAP !!! Which amazes me as I am really enjoying this game so far. I would LOVE to see this on a next gen console because the xbox 360 version is very impressive. Background characters talk A LOT but that just gives depth to the actual game.

I have a copy of Phantom Brave that I really failed to get into, I should try it again. Maybe I will try Disgaea some time.

I've been playing GTA V pretty much any time I have free time (which has only been on the weekends, I work late every day so I basically watch like an hour of TV and go to bed during the week.) I wrote more about it in the GTA V thread but let me just say, it has blown me away. It has managed to recapture that feeling I had when I first played GTA III, and that is hard to do.
