Yeah, I'm definitely jonesing for a new issue. #16 is going to have awesome interconnected covers that represent each nation.
Cool!! But when is it coming out, dammit?! :!:

Dude, I know you Canadians have problems with English, but your fellow countryman, nscc, already stated that it was releasing on December 31.

Did anyone else pick up the EoW World One-Shot? I haven't had time to pour over it much yet, but it looked great at a glance - a nice way to tide us over until the next regular issue come out. :thumb:

I didn't even know about this!

Hopefully my LCS hooked me up. I'll have to give him a call as it will be until after the new year before I get in there.

I believe it's sold out at the distributor level, so you better make that call quick :)

My LCS didn't have any copies left on the shelf when I got there, so I ended up buying a digital copy to look at for now. They reordered it so I will get a hard copy eventually.

I think what actually happened at my LCS is that they were short-shipped last week. They have it listed on this weeks releases again, so if they have sold out at the distributor level, hopefully I'm still in line to get a copy this week. :hope:

I got a copy of the world book one shot this week - and my LCS still had two or three extra copies. If anyone here is still looking for one, let me know. When I go back this week or next, I can see how many are left and maybe get a copy for a few of you.

So excited to read #16... I even scored an additional cheap variant cover (in the style of Wicked + Divine).

Also... Did anyone else know about the incredible 7-part multi-interlocking variant set? Dragotta did an incredible mural of art that divides across the set... One of the employees had ordered the set for himself & showed them to me. Really freaking cool, I wish I had known about it ahead of time! :!:

#16 is awesome! Ranger appearance, so I'm happy!

Would have loved to have known far enough ahead to order all the covers!

I haven't been keeping up for the last couple months, but walked in and saw 7 covers so I picked them all up. What is the deal with the blue cover? Is that the regular cover? Just grabbed it on a lark. I looking forward to catching up.

You lucky bugger, you scored the multi cover set!!

The blue cover is another, separate variant. I think it's meant to imitate another Image title: The Wicked + The Divine. I got that blue cover variant & the regular cover only. Haven't dared to look on eBay for the 7-part set yet... farrrrrr too tempting!!

Yeah I am pretty lucky, my stores order heavy on a lot of books so I can mostly get anything I want, if I know to look for it! Lol

Catching up on my comics, last night was East of West 16-17 AND the world book- I had one kept for me at my LCS, never expected to see it, but it seems I'll be the owner of 2 copies, at least. :P I loved it, I want to see more of this type of stuff, perhaps explain a bit of the different wars and WTF happened during the 40 years of silence. It was informative, cool and never felt like a (fake) history lesson. Awesome! :D

As for the series, itself: SPOILER TERRITORY BELOW

Dudes, is this all a plan from the Endless Nation? The end of times (raising Babylon and making him the catalyst for the apocalypse) being a necessity in order to go back to the old ways?! Thomas?! No More Rangers?!

Aarghhhhh, I have no idea what's about to come. *SQUEE* loving it.
This is the best comic in the market, right now. IMHO. I don't just "read" EoW- I dive into a fantastical place with every issue. The fact that this is a standalone story, it helps. I don't have to worry about continuity or whatever, it's just a GREAT read. As much as I love VEI (the best publisher all around) and shared universes, this is what comics should be about: great fun. Point. No Big Event on the horizon, no crossovers, just a kick-a** story and gorgeous, GORGEOUS art.

Just read #19. Definitely did not disappoint. The art took the spotlight this issue.

I really like the dynamic between Babylon and Balloon. It is delightfully weird.

Yeah I am really digging this series as well. It's very well orchestrated, feels like a grand sci-fi epic. I can't wait for Babylon to figure out what's really going on. I love this book and Prophet from Image. They definitely give me the sci-fi adventure beats I like and there is nothing else like them on the market.
