Coincidentally, I just finished getting all the regular issues of Triumphant (still need to get a few more of the signed limited edition ones). I plan on reading them after I am done with Crossgen.Draco wrote:iggy101us wrote:You should start a site - psilordsfans.comDraco wrote:Plus Psi lords was fine![]()
It's not taken dude, you may be onto something.
I think i have to finish my Triumphantcomicssfans.com first though to be fair.

We may be members of the CJKotWSAS. More than that I cannot confirm or deny. And if I did I'd have to kill another joke.

My favorite part of trinity angles was when they admitted they couldn't be bothered drawing the charactors costumes anymore.
SO THEY CHANGED THEIR COSTUMES.
Really cracked me up.
HEY we cannot be arsed to draw this anymore, so we are going to make it easier for us, and still charge you the same.
Thanks fans for your support. We will sell you blank pages if we could.

I haven't been here in a few weeks, so imagine my surprise to read this news. In that time, I've checked in with Newsarama and Comic Book Resources on a semi-regular basis (mainly just to read the headlines), and I don't remember seeing this there even once. Other than BleedingCool.com, have any other comic book news sites bothered reporting on this? Because it would seem to me that this qualifies as news.
Unless, of course, those sites are just PR machines for Marvel and DC.

Did they start a new site to tell the news, or did they start a news site to make money and find regurgitating stories about the big two is the quickest route to that goal and much easier on the sheep?

Yeah, they are PR machines, but moreso than that, they report on comic companies. VEI is not a comic company. They are a lawsuit machine and their lawyer's wet dream.VHMMV wrote:I haven't been here in a few weeks, so imagine my surprise to read this news. I would certainly like to hear how he responds to all of these allegations as well, but I can see his lawyer advising him to wait for court. On the matter of Dark Horse, they have said they plan on releasing everything as scheduled. I guess we'll just have to wait and see if that actually happens or not.cshepard81 wrote:We're past the 20 day mark, so I guess it won't be long before we hear Shooter's response. For all the hearsay, I'm interested to read his version, and I wonder if this will have any effect on Dark Horse's summer plans with Shooter at the helm.

is this anything like "working on generating new monthly pamplets by the end of 2008"?Daniel Jackson wrote:I would certainly like to hear how he responds to all of these allegations as well, but I can see his lawyer advising him to wait for court. Doubt it. Dark Horse will probably get something out in a reasonable amount of time as long as VEI doesn't mung things up for them.Daniel Jackson wrote:Could be.Zaphod wrote:is this anything like "working on generating new monthly pamplets by the end of 2008"?Daniel Jackson wrote:I would certainly like to hear how he responds to all of these allegations as well, but I can see his lawyer advising him to wait for court. Dark Horse publishes comics, so I'm pretty sure they were working towards actually getting that done (and they didn't feel the need to keep everything a secret).
