He does not like money? Strange.
Probably an allergic reaction otherwise referred to as "a$$hole". It's a very sad condition actually that not only affects the patient negatively but almost anyone else that they come into contact with. Does not seem to be contagious by air, contact, or fluid transfer, but prolonged exposure can lead to brief similar outbursts by those in proximity to the patient. Prognosis is poor. Recommended treatment is boot in a$$ and/or blunt head trauma but results have been mixed and more research is needed.
Just to clarify, I was talking about the LCS guy being an a$$hole, not you Doorman.

This shop limits the sale of any new issue to a quantity of two. He had three in stock at this time (issue #8 was already on his stands) - so they had already been sitting on the shelf for months.

I'd rather not mention the store name - I don't think any of you are in my direct area anyway. But, I appreciate the support. :thumb:

Indeed. Not only are we everywhere, but we travel. For instance, I hit New York City 2 or 3 times a year.

nope - this shop does not sell online.

although, Lone Star has a similar policy on their website: you can only buy two copies of a book (new or old).

I do think 2 of an issue is a bit mental for the dude to get like that.

BUT

I do like stores that limit you to a couple of copies, it's stops some a$$ just coming in and flipping the entire stock on new hot books AND I think it is actually good business practice for the store. It stops them from getting burned on buying books eg. they know they sold 50 copies of Batman last month, so they'll order the same again. Except 40 of those were bought by one dude who doesnt do the same again. Then they are going to get hurt, even though they sold loads last month overall they'd be at a loss.

Anyway just rambling.

there are two more such lots of TWD waiting for me to pick up later. Some issues in the 40's 50's & 60's. $20 for them each as well.

I'm fairly certain, but not 100% sure that this issue is also amongst them.

1st Chew I believe.

For sure. EVERYTHING is going crazy. Even "normal" issues are nuts. The one thing I can say is that it is a great read.

Apparently, it will be revealed tomorrow that the character of "Cheese" in Battle Scars is Agent Coulson from the Marvel movies.

His first appearance is Battle Scars #2.

I could see this going up in price, especially if 616 Coulson becomes a popular character. We've never really seen this happen, the closest example I can think of is Harley Quinn, and we know how that turned out.

Any thoughts?

It doesn't seem to be plentiful on the internet. If I remember, I may try to pick up a copy or two if I get a chance.
