You can rest assured that if I meant to write "4-Lom", I would have spelled it correctly ;)

I did once win Star Wars Trivial Pursuit on my first turn, after all.

Didn't get around to editing this weekend, it will probably get done tonight.

The end was ok. The cover to #26 is one of my favorite Valiant covers.

Sure, the cover was cool. Have you ever actually read the end of Ninjak? It's awfully sudden. It's not even a cliffhanger, it just ends. Almost like it was not the intended end of the series.

I did read up to #26. I don't remember too much about Ninjak execpt that when reading it I was bummed that #26 was the end. I thought they had an interesting plot development that did not get finished.

For me, it totally just ended, kinda like Sojourn from Crossgen. I'm sure it was not intended to be the end. But, I think they had something possibly going on. Unlike books like Hard Corps, EW and X-O which had utter refuse at the end.

Episode 52 is available here.

It is all Ninjak discussion.

We had a special guest on the show.

There is very little singing (I edited most of it out ;) )

I would like to read a hypothetical Ninjak #27.

I was wondering who left that message.

You will have to listen to see if it was included :)

Probably because Ninjak #27 and #28 had already been solicited.

I really enjoyed this episode.

Jonesy nice job bro. I liked that you dudes talked specifically about the books. Not as much off topic...... which I miss. I actually like some off topic rantings.

I was stoked when Sean Prime asked about what everyone had been reading....... but a bit bummed when nothing came out of it.

Overall, I loved the epi.

It's like I'm sitting there with my homies.

From one OTV fan..... thanks!

For those interested -

I am on today's episode of the Comic Book Page Podcast with Bob Bretall, we talked about WonderCon, the best darn convention on the west coast that isn't SDCC.

You can get it here:

The Singer made a fantastic comment about the lack of exposition in early Valiant, particularly Harbinger, at the 31 minute mark.

He pretty much explained exactly why I feel that Harby is overrated as read today. Instead of background being laid out, readers were given stereotypes instead.

The points about Archer and Solar are dead on as well. Which is why I also feel that A&A #0 remains a strong read to this day.

I have to side with Sean on one argument. (You decide which Sean) lol

I think that Ninjak was 50% James Bond rip-off and 50% Image rip-off. I think the reason for his flowing scarf or whatever it was meant to imitate Spawn's flowing cape.

Well, I just listened to the new podcast and I have to say this was one of the best episodes (which is kinda weird considering the topic :D). Everyone just seemed so on target. I just about lost it when Lame Sean started to criticize Ninjak's outfit. It didn't seem as free for all as some of the episodes do and the minimal singing was nice for me. I also think Jonesy did a pretty awesome job... quite the character. And apparently I have never read Ninjak, because none of that secret agent talk sounded familiar at all to me. A solid 5 entertainos.... entertainMoes... enterlame-os.... er... yeah... something like that. :thumb:

...Oh, and that Ninjak message was HILARIOUS!
