On this book, I've owned many copies. It has ALWAYS sold no matter where I set the price. Seriously. When they were selling for $20, I'd set the price on my copy at $40 and they would sell. When they were going for $40, I'd set my price at $75. Sale!

After my sale at $75, I saw all the prices jump up to that level so I put this copy up at $150 thinking there was no way it would sell. Then, I saw the price creeping very close to $100 about two weeks ago and very few, if any, copies out there so I moved this up to $170 thinking it wouldn't sell. However, I got busy with work and haven't checked since then. It must've been the only raw up and it just sold.

I'm down to my two personal copies now.

FYI, I believe #27 will do this as well eventually, but on a much smaller scale.
Very well played. :hm:

Daredevil 1-7 still going strong, despite 1-6 now offered as a hardback.

The numbers on the fifth issues from the DC relaunch are out, and DC has all top ten selling comics according to the numbers on them.

I was told by a few retailers that some of these books are harder to find than others, sort of like Uncanny X Force #4. Do you know which ones?

Issue 2 first print is the hardest to find by far. I sold it easily at 9.99 plus shipping on eBay. If anyone puts copies on eBay for less than that, they'll likely sell out rather quickly and 9.99 could then be realized again. I haven't identified any other issues that are tougher than the others, but I haven't researched it in about a month.

Although issue 2 dried up long before the others, it now appears 3, 4 and 5 might be good books as well. The best searches on eBay to check this out are:

waid daredevil

and

daredevil 2011 -reborn

All dc issue 1s from relaunch are doing very well.
Detective and batman are both selling well at 8 for me.
Supeman and action are doing the same.
The GL books are only getting me about 5 each for any of them with red lanterns turning the fastest .
Everything from sinistro corps - darkest night is turning very well for me and has for a few months now. Batman superman still does ok in low numbers 3 - 11 the rest is stagnant to a degree where as it was good for a long time.

All avengers movie related books are also picking up steam.
Mighty 1 and new avengers 1 regular cover are heading out the door for 5 each all day long.
All Cap stuff is toast I have like 1 left of 2 long boxes .

ultmate x and spiderman have cooled off most issues are going around 2 for me to get them gone.
UFF 21 gone as soon as it shows up.

indy stuff Spawn always sells well here, Todd Mcfarlane lives here so it is a local thing but at 2 each any spawn issue is toast its been that way for years so that is not a national thing just the way phx is. WD still blows out at 3 for any issue,I get invincible chew they are both right up there as well, anything of the above in high numbers just gets tossed out for 3 and is gone.
Dark horse star wars stuff sold well this month for some reason not sure on it.

thats the mini phx report on hot or not this month.

I, too, have a saying. "It's hard to put 10 million comics out of business."

There used to be a store owner here that bragged he was going to put one of the other stores out of business. That other store has one million comics. That's when I said "it's hard to put a million comics out of business." The braggart is now out of business. The store with a million comics remains.

Are they ever going to finish this series? They got movie deal immediately after the first printing of #1 sold out and then nothing.

The original plan was to do an issue every 6 months or so. Then Simpson broke his arm or wrist or something.

Bi-Annual release for a 32 page comic? That is kind of -- ridiculous isn't it?
