I'm happy with this deal, maybe someone should tell the seller to get the name right so more people would notice his auctions :P

On another note, not that i'm using esnipe, you won't notice me competiting for valiants until the last few seconds of auction...luking in the bushes like a rapist i'll be!
This auction ended yesterday.

NEVER post until you have books-in-hand.

If you announce this you are setting yourself up to be backstabbed. If someone now contacts the seller and tells them about the mistake then they my contact you with an "oops, can't find'em, here's your money back" story.

Goodpoint. Let's hope some vindicative board member doesn't do that

Uhhhhhh, did you know that issues 1-8 do NOT have the coupons? I PMed the seller when the auction was up but he said 'NO COUPONS'.

Every Magnus and Harb books I see that I think I might bid on, I always ask if the coupons are there... :hope:

Probably still worth it just for the Magnus 0.

The fact that someone is selling both 1-8 and the 0 issue is reason enough to suspect that 1-8 do not have the coupons :thumb:

Yeah, it's still worth it for the Mag 0, but it definitely detracts a lot of the "good deal" factor from the sale knowing that all the coupons are missing. It always pays to ask the seller these things before bidding.

I figured that was probably it, but considering the magnus 0 has been selling in and above that price alone lately, i figured it couldn't hurt having some extra magnus readers.

I just picked up Solar #30-39, as well as Shadowman 30-38 and 43 for $4, plus $5 shipping. Not a bad haul at all. :D

I just got two Harbinger TPB, one still sealed, plus like 10 others I didn't have for $5. I'm decently happy about it.

It 'might' be due to the figures that are included with the auction. But yep, still kind of steep.

Cool find Greg, the $8.00 shipping seems a little high though.

Yes... but I would have paid up to $24 total including shipping,
so I guess I still saved a buck.

It was only slightly too high... the book was nicely protected in
thick bubblewrap and shipped in a priority mail box for $5.05.
That leaves about $2.95 for "handling". I guess if it was 10 or 15 miles
to the post office, that would pretty much be a gallon of gas round trip.
(Though, I'm pretty sure the post office will pick up priority mail packages for free.)

I found a Harbinger #1 for $15.

8-)

The same seller had a Visitor v/s The VALIANT Universe #0 in the "price variant" section asking $2.95, but I asked him what the cover price was - it was $2.95. Oh, well.......

Some people spend their whole lives believing in fairy tales, usually because they don't want to give up the fabulous prizes.
