Are you not the same SiBill that was posting on Defiant1's boards in the (no longer existing) Ultraverse topic? As for who or what was being argued about, all I can remember is there was I believe a female bidder who kept bidding up Ultraverse lots, we commented about it on the board and this person got all in a huff. Also, if I remember correctly, I think you somehow knew this person. It's been a while so my details might be off, and it's not like we can go back and re-read those posts because they no longer exist.

If you are not lurking why havent you posted lately.

Knightt has had these dead universes up for awhile and I havent seen you here untill some one brought up something about some one who was paying way to much for Ultraverse books.

Us dead universe collectors here try and help each other out with get these books with out paying an arm and a leg for them.

Most of us are good guy and some are really helpfull. So if you wont to fit in here try and be the same.

wow, I think that's the closest I've seen David come to telling someone off on the message board!

It's great us four Ultraverse collectors don't bid against each other, but there's still a few guys out there that will. I saw a sweet Ultraverse item that Chris happens to be bidding on, and I didn't bid on it, but some other guy just outbid him.

My modus operandi when it comes to Ultraverse bidding is I'll lay down an initial bid to let you guys know I'm interested in something (provided I'm the first one to find it) and then I'll hold off my final bid until close when I'll place a snipe to ward off any of the other non-board bidders. Usually works well and only doesn't work when someone is willing to pay more for something than me.

I don't think I ever joined that board. I'm just messing with you guys. I have been a long time member of this board - you probably recognize the name becaue I had some opinions debated about the Vfscc (or whatever they are called) - plus I had the privilege of debating ZWH (nerd god complex) a few times. I have decided on a different niche for collecting. I collect all minority super heros (not many) - so the dead Universe I want is Milestone... I am curious though what the argument was about? The people on this board have never displayed any good will when sniping each other on the Valiant gems. They usually compliment each other on a game well played once it's over. Me - I decided a while ago to lay off the Valiants because (a lot of) the guys on this board are not collectors but rather hoarders (I suspect speculative). Either that or they are NUTS!!!! Plus I never really subscribe to peer socialism.... So I come by and read the boards every so often - which is how I saw this . I love the Ultraverse - but I think I got all the ones I need.....

I will keep with my typical MO on not bidding against others on this message board. There are so few of us collecting Dead Universes that I choose not to get into monetary in-fighting amongst us.

It's all about people trying to complete their DUs, not who has the bigger wallet (Technique is testimony to that).

If I know for certain that one of you guys are bidding on something I won't bid especially you and knightt dac because both you guys have treated me more than fair when it came to exchanging books

If i can't find books you guys need it's the least I can do plus it's the right thing to do. Their should be some DU code of honor or something. Like if anyone we know from these boards bids against any of us on any auctions
