Yeah... especially with it being this late.Brother J wrote:maybe dino could post in this thread and give us whatever information he has on when the book will come out. It might be out of VEI's control, but you would think Diamond would have told them something if there was some kind of snag with getting the books released.

Just a heads-up. That's all we ask.Brother J wrote:maybe dino could post in this thread and give us whatever information he has on when the book will come out. so what does this say about VEI's choice of distributor?etos45 wrote:The first one was early if you got it from Amazon... it was waaay late if you waited for Diamond to send it.J-Scott-R wrote:So was the first, I got it two weeks before the listed ship date from Amazon.com.t_inkster wrote:The second book was actually early though

And so we can clarify, did anyone order from Amazon? Because if they did and they haven't recieved the book yet, I am guessing Diamond isn't to blame, right? Using the established logic flow from previous.

I didn't order it from Amazon, but they still have it listed as out of stock, so it doesn't seem to be a Diamond problem. A status update from someone at VEI would be appreciated.Zaphod wrote:

Don't get all *SQUEE* with me. Take that sh!t to dino and Co.greg wrote:Sweet! Let's speculate...jedimarley wrote:Until we are told otherwise, all we can do is speculate.
I wonder if jedimarley didn't send a Cease and Desist to Diamond claiming
that he is the rightful owner of the ampersand symbol (&) used on the cover.

I don't know why the Archer & Armstrong hardcover isn't out yet...
I haven't been told. I haven't seen anything more than what's on this site.
However, I didn't start ValiantFans.com and ValiantComics.com because of VEI.
I started it BEFORE there was a VEI. Before Acclaim killed themselves.
I like the original characters, the original stories, and the original Valiant universe.
Having or not having a "new" 95% reprint item on a particular week just doesn't bother me.
I guess I should be more outraged, but I'm just not.

If anyone here should be outraged it is you. You have much more vested with Valiant then anyone else here. With the site and all the time and money that you spend on it's upkeep.
For dino not to come here and not to tell, even if it's just you, as to why the book is almost 1 month late is a slap in your face.

I am in my 12th year running my microeconomic experiment in collectible
market manipulation whereby I "artificially" inflate the value of a
small number of comic books that I own in volume in order to further my
larger goal of an overnight-get-rich-quick-scheme, while silencing those
who oppose me or attempt to inform the public of my nefarious plans.
Didn't Defiant1 tell you?

You're currently getting only 98% of the profits.

So that's why it costs me so much for these books on ebay. Could you start inflating some of those Acclaim books for me?Daniel Jackson wrote:Shhhh.....you're not supposed to admit that in public......greg wrote:I am in my 12th year running my microeconomic experiment in collectible
