Damn, i'm glad i snagged two of those at $35, seems like the price has really shot up on these. There's two ebay sellers with recent pink bins of 75 and 80 bones.

and just today from the same guy:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... %3AIT&rd=1

Obviously I took a gamble with the harbinger 1, it wasn't listed if the coupon was attached but i didn't want to wait for the seller's reply knowing someone would probably snake it from me.
Bump.
Got all three books and i'm very happy to say the condition on all three is excellent! I'm more than likely gonna send the harby to be slabbed.

Not a huge event, but I scored XO Manowar 1/2 for a penny... I know some people think I overpaid... but it completes my collection (minus some Valiant Voices).

After 4 year waiting it happened. He handed it to me today.

Greg, you stole my BWS A&A 9.8s!

http://cgi.ebay.com/Archer-and-Armstron ... dZViewItem

You snatched those so quick, he decided to jack the others up to $24 each which is too much for these commons, IMO. :!:

I figured he'd put these books out there eventually, but I was too slow on the draw. He's an awesome seller. You should have no probs at all. :thumb:

Actually, the others were already $24... and I passed on those.
I'm not sure how he picked the prices, but I liked the ones I got.

Oh. Yeah, looks like he started them all yesterday except 2 which were started today. I'll bet the way he decided the prices are from the CGC census. 0, 1, 2, 8 are probably submitted alot more often than the higher numbers so he priced the more often submitted issues lower and the others higher. I guess that's a smart way to do it, but you got a heck of a steal on that 0. :thumb:

Best deal of late? I got nothing!

But, someone was asking about deals back in the good old days of ebay before this message board and everyone and their brother was back to buying VALIANTS.

I mentioned an ebay seller crazy4sale that I scored some knockout prices with back in the day, including magnus 1-20 for about a buck plus shipping, Shadowman 1-20 for ONE CENT and others like that. Anyone else get any equally amazing scores off of this guy or anyone else back then?

Here's my feedback for the guy:

WHAT A BARGAIN!!!! THANKS AGAIN!

I'm happy with this deal, maybe someone should tell the seller to get the name right so more people would notice his auctions :P

On another note, not that i'm using esnipe, you won't notice me competiting for valiants until the last few seconds of auction...luking in the bushes like a rapist i'll be!

Nice score, the seller could have got a little more if he just would have bothered to tell whether they came with the coupons still attached.

I think that the big thing is the misspelling.

It looks like one of the cards is in the bag. I would guess that the coupon has been removed from that one. Not a good sign.

This auction ended yesterday.

NEVER post until you have books-in-hand.

If you announce this you are setting yourself up to be backstabbed. If someone now contacts the seller and tells them about the mistake then they my contact you with an "oops, can't find'em, here's your money back" story.
